The hotel is spotless and our room was a lovely size and really comfortable. The pub is just opposite and it had a great atmosphere and we received a great welcome from the staff who were all brilliant. Breakfast was included you help yourself to the buffet table which had plenty of choice then we had a full English. Just like dinner the food was great quality and cooked perfectly. Clean bed. Bathroom not as clean as I had hoped for. Staff were amazing and food in the Pilgrim inn was good. Check in and out easy. Found via google search / Expedia. 10 out of 10 for everything. Service, food. The rooms were beautiful and excellent value for money. Perfect stop en-route to Southampton for cruising. Staff were so polite and accommodating. We arrived with 9 mins to spare before kitchen closed and we were served one of the best steak meals I have ever had. Brilliant! Didn't use the bar. Nowhere around to walk the dog. No pathways on the road. The shower ran hot and cold. Grouting in Shower cubicle needed cleaning, although it was a lovely large walk in shower. Toilet seat was loose! I booked 3 nights, only stayed for 2\. Chair in room was badly stained, light switches - some worked some didn't with intermittent flickering.
