Quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed the peaceful, laidback area where the house is located. Only a short driving distance to beach access. The pool was a great addition for a quick dip.

Great place for up to 10, close to everything!

The house is older, but has plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms. The common areas are large enough and the kitchen is very well stocked.The outdoor space is great, especially with the “pool room” hangout and dining area. The pool is small, but very well maintained.Most of all, the property owners are extremely responsive and helpful with any questions or issues that come up.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

The perfect place!

Our family loved the home. It was perfect for our vacation. The kids loved the pool and being able to fish in the canal. The house was great we all had our own space. We can’t wait to plan our next trip!

Nice stay with family

My twins graduated high school at a location nearby so we needed a place for family to stay for a couple of nights to visit after graduation. Overall we had a very nice stay and visit and I would recommend. Here are some details that might help others:Pros:1. Pool is very nice and back patio area spacious.2. House has 5 bedrooms so plenty of room for a large family to stay3. Beach is about a mile walk from the house and it’s a beautiful quiet area of the beach. If you don't want to walk, you can park at a little strip mall nearby and walk across the street.4. Kitchen has pretty much everything you need to cook.Cons:1. There are many rules about the pool times and staying quiet. If you have teenagers or young adults good luck. My twins are 18 and sat outside on back patio talking around 10 and the neighbor opened the window and told them to go inside. 2. There are many rules about the pool and dirt. I felt like the entire day I was telling everyone to wash their feet off with the hose before going into the pool. It was exhausting trying to manage that. 3. There are stairs to get to kitchen and family room- if you have anyone in your party like I did that had a recent hip or knee surgeries this is not ideal for them.4. Walking on the neighborhood road to get to the beach was stressful. There are no sidewalks and the roads are narrow. We kept having to jump into yards when cars were going by. 5. 4 cars only in driveway and our party had 5 cars. We parked nearby shops

Great Stay in At. Augustine!!

We traveled with our 3 sons and their significant others and what a great place!!! The pool area was a huge hit!!! We spent many hours hanging by the pool. We cooked dinner every night in the kitchen. Enough room to give everyone their own space and a great hang-out place as well.

St. Augustine

I have stayed at many VRBO units over the years. I do a lot of research before I make my final selection. I have rarely been disappointed and usually my choices are all close to a perfect match. I can usually judge if the unit is good as soon as I walk in the door. For me, when I walk in the door the only thing I should have to do is load the food in the refrigerator. This unit was as close to perfect as you can get. There was a heated pool in the back yard which was right on the canal. You could walk to the beach. St. Augustine is a very historic, picturesque city with lots of shops and GOOD restaurants. There was plenty to do for 3 young grandchildren and 4 adults. Best of all we were close enough to Cape Canaveral to see a rocket launch. We will definitely go back.

Family Christmas

Perfect place for my wife and I to spend a week with the grandkids and kids.My wife and I come to St Augustine a few times a year and this trip is our first with family. We will definitely do this at least once a year with our grandkids and kids.

Great house on canal with pool

Very clean, large house in a nice and quiet neigborhood. Comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen. Great place for groups/families to get together. Nice pool.

Nice place to hang out

This isn't 5 star lodging. The place isn't perfect. It makes up for that in the pricing, charm, location and amenities. We had a blast. Swimming, fishing, relaxing and exploring. Highly recommend this place

Lots of space & great location

We were all happy with our stay in St. Augustine. The house had a lot of room inside and out. The beds were very comfortable for everyone. The AC worked great and there were plenty of ceiling fans in each room. The couches comfortable. Both showers had the best water pressure I think I've ever experienced. The kids spent a lot of time in the pool which was small but nice. There is beach access close to the home, but still a little too far for us to walk to. We were dropped off at the boardwalk which led to a beach area that was not crowded. The city is in process of putting in a pedestrian crosswalk at this beach access which is needed due to the high traffic volume.

Wonderful place to relax and have fun.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The property manager was very prompt in responding to our questions about light switches and the issue was taken care of the next day. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed. Very close to historic Saint Augustine and plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. We even had the opportunity to meet the owners! Super nice people. If we are ever looking to stay in St. Augustine again, we will definitely see if this property is available.

Awesome Spring Break 2024!

This place had everything we needed for an amazing week in Florida. We shared it with my sister’s family. (4 adults, 5 kids ages 7-17, and 2 dogs). The canal was gorgeous and we loved the pool and whole ambiance of the outdoor space. Thai was our second stay in one of David and Pattie’s places and we plan to rent again from the same hosts next year!

Family and friends spring break trip

Wonderful getaway!!

Very nice, clean and had everything you would need. The pool was clean and it was so nice to sit by the canal and visit. Unfortunately I got sick and had to leave a day early. Would love to come back and enjoy again!!
