“The staff and management were awesome! The breakfast was excellent and well laid out. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Just a couple of things that would have made our stay perfect was that our room window was so filmed over outside from lime/scaling we couldn't see out. Also, the hotel is not on a direct road access, and is difficult to find it (possibly a little more signage is needed on the entrance/exit roads?) Other than that we were very happy with our stay : )”

“Fully equipped kitchen, lots of sleeping space, spotlessly clean, and the location—right on the river! The freighters never stopped coming and were so close you could practically touch them!!”

“The check-in process is very combursome and confusing. The lockbox next to the fire extinguisher doesn't make sense when there are multiple fire extinguishers on site. If you advertise a sofa sleeper it should be made up or at the very least there should be sheets, pillows and blankets inside the unit. Fortunately, the Days in Staff was very helpful. ”

“its a great historic house with a large living space. Everything is updated. walking distance to downtown and the river. We were in town for a funeral and visiting relatives so we only used the house for sleeping, showering and getting dressed. the house was clean and well stocked with towels and everything we needed. I would stay there again.”

“Our check in was early as we had been traveling since 3:00pm the previous day from NC. We could not find a hotel for overnight stay in Ohio as many of the towns we passed through were already booked up and this was at 12:00 midnight and 1:00 AM. So we continued on into MI, and was greeted by the kindest woman at the front desk whom was the night auditor. She was able to get us in a room at 6:30 AM as we were exhausted and we even had some oatmeal before heading to our room to sleep for a bit.……

“Loved that placed! Our daughter said if she decides to stay in Michigan for the summer she would want to rent that place full time. It was very clean. The air worked great. There was a washer and dryer to use. Convenient location. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back again!”
