Perfect property for our family

Our family of five, including 3 kids, spent 5 days here for winter break. We had such a great time! The property is well stocked with essentials and more. We enjoyed the log burning stove and the kids enjoyed playing in the snow in the ample space outside. The property was away from the hustle and bustle of the resort, but close enough to enjoy activities around the area. We went snow tubing, horseback riding, ice fishing, and sleigh riding. I would definitely recommend this property for a peaceful stay in Steamboat.

Amazing stay 25 min from Steamboat Springs!

Upon arrival, we were very pleased to realize that the house was even nicer than what the photos portrayed. Our experience here was very comfortable, we could see all the stars at night, and the unpaved road was smoother than we thought it would be which was nice as we went to and from during the day. Half of my group is already talking about coming back to this exact spot next year!

our cozy winter stay

The property exceeded our expectations. We got to enjoy the snow from the cozy fire and hot tub, and explore the town just a short walk. We grilled, enjoyed the views from every direction, and our doggies had a blast playing in the snow in the backyard. The property manager was so easy to reach and communicate with helping us with any questions we had. We couldn’t have picked a better spot to reconnect with family and soak in cozy fireplace time in the winter wonderland. Hope to come back in the future !

Great place for a ski trip with dogs

We had a wonderful stay for a New Years multi-family ski trip with dogs in tow! Plenty of room for two families of four, and ample supplies for cooking all of our breakfasts and dinners at the cabin. It snowed 5 inches one of the nights we were there and we had no problems getting to the ski resort with an all wheel drive Subaru. Someone even came that day to plow the driveway too. Heads up for families with small children that the cabin is not toddler proofed. Our dog loved being on the trip with us and the host is very responsive and overall we had a great time!

Cozy Cabin Near Steamboat

Very cute cabin with plenty of space for our whole family. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. Located roughly 30 minutes from Steamboat Springs ski resort. Note that you will need at least chains to access the property when it has been snowing.

Family Thanksgiving Getaway

We really enjoyed this property. Beautiful location, beautiful home with lots of room. Loved the size of the island in the kitchen for all of us to help prep Thanksgiving dinner. We were fortunate enough to have alot of snow during our stay and our kids and grandkids and dogs loved it. Great hosts!!! Thank you very much!!!

Very Relaxing in Beautiful Country

The house is on a country road and is very peaceful! The night skies are breathtaking! Our dogs loved the property and we loved watching the birds from the back deck. Some TLC would make the home a 5 star but it was enjoyable and we would definitely rent again!

Snow mobile trip

Location is a bit out of town, quiet on a windy road. Road was well maintained, but could be a bit sketchy with a trailer if activity snowing. House was clean, no issues and use house garage was a big plus. Plenty of room for turning around with a trailer. Host was accessible and answered all our questions. Thanks

Great location and property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the ranch. Loved being within close proximity to the resort in steamboat while being a bit remote at the same time. Beautiful area, lots of space at the house, well stocked with everything we could need. Would recommend.

Privacy and Beauty

I had my family and a few friends w/ spouses to the cabin by Sleeping Giant Mtn. Everyone really enjoyed the peaceful spot and beautiful scenery. Tony was great to work with and very responsive with any questions that we had. We will be back!

Family Getaway

The place is great, however, the deck and seating was full of bird poop and couldn’t use it. I am from a farm and understand it can be a little dirty. At the price I’d expect it to be useable. Otherwise it is absolutely beautiful and communication was very good.

Ranch Vacation

We loved staying here. The area is breathtakingly beautiful; rolling hills, green fields and endless quiet. Our dogs had a blast playing frisbee in the yard and out in the fields (as there were no cattle grazing when we were there.) The house was a short drive to Steamboat. The owner and property manager were super nice and very responsive. I'd stay here again; no question.

Country Living!

We enjoyed our stay! The drive into Steamboat was not bad, about 20 - 25 minutes away. I'd like to return for a weekend of bike riding around those hills. The night sky was awesome for astrophotography! The fence isn't completely enclosed but there is alot of land for dogs with good recall to explore.

Very Nice Rustic Cabin

Everything was very nice. Plenty of everything. My only suggestion is that there be more lamps by bedsides and sofas. The furniture arrangement in the living room is awkward for watching TV. One sofa and two easy chairs would be a huge improvement. Otherwise everything was terrific.

Cozy house with lots of space but did have mice

The house was very cozy and roomy for our group of friends on a ski trip! The kitchen was well set up and the big dining table and sitting area was great for the group. The road was a bit rough (lots of potholes) but we knew that going in and Was fine to drive in 4WD. The drive to the ski resort was about 30 minutes but easy. We knew it was an old barn style house, so maybe should’ve expected it, but there were mice in the house. We heard them at night and found droppings near our bags that were on the floor and saw one running around the bedroom the last night we stayed, which was a bit unsettling. Otherwise we had a good stay, and the property is very pretty with awesome views of the stars at night too.
