“Perfectly situated between the Blue Ridge Parkway and Floyd! The host is delightful and the property is a slice of heaven looking out over a quiet meadow! I had my coffee outside watching the barn swallows, biue jays, robins and cardinals mingle with the deer. It was serene! Then just a short drive into Floyd to take in the local flare. The Parkway is close and fun to take a relaxing drive doen yo Mabry mill. All in all a plus 5 on all accounts!”

“Cute apartment! Loved the old building with the new decor. Kitchen was great to have, although utensils on the counter were dusty and the top of fridge. Plants were nice to see. Just to let other renters know there are 32 steps to the second floor. A little hard when you have to park across the street behind the Courthouse with all your things. Town was great! Very walkable as it only has one traffic light in the town. We were there mon-wed. A lot of places are closed on Monday and Tuesday. We……

“The cute tiny house has everything we needed and provided a relaxing getaway atmosphere. Star gazing and watching the wildlife were highlights. The close proximity to Floyd makes it convenient to go into town. Highly recommend checking out Five-Mile Mountain Distillery for incredible moonshine cocktails. Cheers and relax!”

“Quality mattress, bedding, & pillows (with bedding options in the closet.) Decor that inspires relaxation & calm. Along a quaint historical street with multiple stores & small cafes and taverns. Enjoyed our stay & will visit again on future long distance trips for a peaceful “rest stop.” Couches in living room are only loveseat sized, not very cushy & less than ideal for larger or taller persons, but not uncomfortable enough to warrant a complaint or deduct from our stay.”

“We ejoyed the retro feeling of this place, the old stove, old refrigerator which was still cold! Decor was very well thought out. Kudos!. My wife has trouble with steps, but took her time and did well. The bed was extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend for a long weekend.”
