“We loved our stay at the Herondale. The property is well-appointed and has a beautiful view and position: just minutes from Astoria, and feels special, remote and secluded. The robes and toiletries are high-end and luxurious, yet the property design is simple and refined. I think for the price, a simple turn-down and replenish service should be included. (we had to ask for this) Note: do NOT forget a bath suit like I did! Very nice hot tub, sauna and cold-plunge. I would highly recommend a stay……
“Motel was clean and reasonably priced. Retro decor was fun. The staff were helpful and happily offered suggestions for food and fun. It is within walking distance of the Bridgeport Bistro which is one of the best places to eat in Astoria. If you are looking for something more than fruit and pastries for breakfast, there is a Pig and Pancake restaurant right next door. You do have to be careful crossing the busy street to get to the Piers.”
“If you get a room that says Beachfront make sure it is on the 3rd floor at least. I was upset because my room was on 1st floor and there was NO BEACHFRONT at all that I could see!!”
“This hotel was adorable! Perfect walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants in Astoria! One thing I LOVED about this place was the selection of old records they had on display! In addition, they let you check out record players to take back to your room so that you can enjoy the records!”
“Great location but pretty expensive for what it was. I opted for the interior room with a shared bathroom. I’m okay with this setup but $200 CAD for a Monday felt like a lot. It was extremely hot and muggy with no options for AC and it’s early/mid September so I’d imagine it’s very hot in the summer. This was a decent stay but I would have been much more okay with it if I felt like the price matched experience.”
