This is our third year vacationing in this house. House is fully equipped with all your kitchen needs. Always clean. Short walk to the beach. Kids enjoy fishing from the floating dock and hanging out in the playroom downstairs. Owner is always quick to respond if needed.

Canal home at Holden Beach

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and we loved it yet again! Especially love that the master bedroom has an extremely comfortable king bed. Teenagers loved fishing off the dock Aj’s singing karaoke in the downstairs area!

Great House and Excellent Hosts!

We had a great stay. We loved the dock, sitting by the waterway and the short walk to the beach access. The house had everything we needed. The record player and albums were a huge bonus!!!! The host responded to our messages quickly and were great. Thanks for the great stay!

Beach/Canal House

We enjoyed the location, house cleaness and decor. Once the outside is brought up to the standard of the inside it will be a place I would stay again. We really enjoy being outside on the canal but were disappointed at the lack of outside living. i.e. the Gazebo renovation is not completed, No outside dining space and amount of weeds taking over

Another great vacation

Just What We Needed

This place met all expectations for our family of four. Loved the access to the canal, beach access was not bad. We felt right at home. Holden Beach is a wonderful place to bring family without feeling crowded or too commercialized.

Perfect Stay

This charming 3 bedroom house on Holden meet our family vacation needs perfectly. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some to prepare meals. Our grandkids loved the downstairs game room to keep them busy in the evenings while the adults hung out. Short walk to the beach (they also have beach toys, boards and supplies to share). I would definitely stay here again! My only need would be some chairs on the top deck for the evening. Thank you for letting us enjoy your place!

Wonderful getaway

We had a wonderful getaway with extended family. The home was well stocked and offered plenty of indoor and outdoor space for all to enjoy. Quick walk to the beach with the added benefit of fishing from the dock in the evenings. And the outdoor shower was awesome for everyone to wash off after a day in the sand and sun.

Beach week

We enjoyed being on the canal - my husband was able to keep his kayak on the dock and the view was peaceful. The owners were very prompt and responsive to questions. We'd certainly stay here again!

Perfect family get away

Great get away! We loved the floating dock so we can crab and fish. Great location from the beach not a bad walk! Greg was super nice and made it all easy! Love that he sent us a paper with the keys with details about check in/ out! Would definitely stay again!

Birthday Beach Trip

House is as advertised. Close to fishing pier and public beach access which was nice for me and my boys. Game room was a hit and my youngest son and I played many games of pool. We cooked some meals and found the grill and kitchen adequate for our needs. Wife loved the firm bed. I enjoyed the water pressure and hot water which lasted a good while. Deck, Dock and Outside furniture showing some signs of wear and could use some maintenance and repairs but nothing outside of normal for the beach climate and the salty air. We would choose it again!

Great visit to Holden Beach

Six of us (four adults, two kids) really enjoyed our visit to Holden Beach and Captain P's house. Location was excellent, as was the dock and patio. Our kids loved fishing off of it. Communication was very easy, and the house was very comfortable and well appointed. It could use a few minor improvements, but nothing that significantly took away from the visit. The basement walls look to have had some flood damage, though, and wasn't a place where we spent much time.

Great spot for family

The property was almost exactly as expected from pictures and was the perfect place for our family with three young children. The open floor plan gave plenty of space for the kids to move around freely but also be supervised. Was very private and quiet during our stay. Lots of space for meal prep also was appreciated. Easy walk to beach. Only thing I might suggest is gates at the top of the stairs and leading down to the dock as added security for folks with young kids. We had to block off those areas with chairs.
