“There were items that needed attention from maintenance. The smoke detector in our room had been duct taped. The bathroom door would stick and difficult to open. The bathroom sink was extremely slow to drain. The ice machine on our floor was out of order. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well supplied and good. Not the hotel's fault, but the guy in the adjacent decided to smoke in his room at 5am then proceeded to tamper with the smoke detector that was unable to be shut……

“This is a classic, aging chain-hotel. I knew that going in, I selected this particular hotel because I like how the pools are laid out on the older quality inns, it’s nice for my kids. The room was fairly updated and fairly clean, although there were a few things that were frustrating like a hair stuck to the blow dryer and the coffee pot being too dirty to use. But the bathtub and toilet and bed were all clean. I thought the pool area could’ve been cleaner and in better repair. But we were able……
