FAMILY FRIENDLY weekend getaway on the Yorke Peninsula

A renovated 3 bedroom home with everything you need!

Only 1.5 hours from Adelaide, this split level home is a short walk, and even shorter drive from the beach. Located one street back from the beach, you can see the water from the front deck, and watch the sun set over farmland from under the back pergola. With a full functioning kitchen, including a massive gas oven and dishwasher, air conditioning, wood fire, washing machine and roomy lounge to relax on, this is your home away from home. The King size bed in the spacious Master Bedroom gives a sense of luxury, with the 2nd bedroom having a Queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom having 2 single beds (and 2 trundle beds) for the kids. Ample room in the backyard for the kids to run around and play, and the adults can relax by the fire pit at night. Head to Ardrossan to walk the jetty, find a playground or just relax with a coffee at Wilmas on the Yorke cafe. Ardrossan also has takeaway food options, IGA supermarket and Bottleshop, just a 5 minute drive away.

Short stay at TWB

Loved the property, the place. Very quiet, which is how we liked it. Close to Ardrossan, for food etc., and close to the beach for the dog walks.

Easter Bowls Tournament

Once again we stayed at Tiddy Widdy for the Ardrossan Bowls Club Easter Four day tournament.While the weather was inclement, we still enjoyed ourselves staying in this very comfortable and well equipped house. Only a five minute drive into Ardrossan the property is very convenient.

Summer holiday

A fantastic ‘Shack’ within good walking distance from the beach, and the crabs! Perfect first impression when we arrived. This was one of the better places we have stayed in at Yorkes. We had a very relaxing time for our holiday here this year.

Yorke getaway

The property was well presented and clean. It was exceptionally well equipped with kitchen and entertainment goods. It would also be ideal for a family as children are very well catered for, with games, and even a big chalk board to keep them amused. Great place to stay

Peaceful haven close to ocean.

We had a wonderful week of relaxation and fishing at the Summer House on the Yorke Peninsula. The house was immaculate, stylish and very well equipped.

Quiet and has everything needed

Good place to stay. It just needs the side gate to be secured so the dog can be in yard unsupervised. Kitchen and bathroom could be cleaner on arrival.

Terrific Cottage near the waterfront

We had a lovely stay in Tiddy Widdy Beach. The walks were terrific and the "summer house" was perfect for us. The cottage was pretty, comfortable and clean, and we found the beds comfortable - loved the big King bed! - and enjoyed relaxing on the roomy sofa. Thank you for letting us stay Cheers, Jane

Bright and beautiful

The house was sparkling clean with fresh decor, and everything you could want. Lovely that we could take the dog and relax. Communication with Scott was easy and very responsive. It was overall a great weekend with very pleasant accommodation.

Tiddy Widdy Beach

Lovely house . No wifi but well equipped otherwise. Great for families especially with young children but don’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues. We couldn’t enjoy the back garden as two of us couldn’t use steps at back door. No access otherwise

Quiet space and time to reenergise.

Lovely house, easy to find, easy to look after, many chives of in hose activities. Plenty to do outside. Eat in or out. Walk easily to beach or around the coast or farming areas.

Nice little getaway

Was a nice spot for a couples getaway. Unusual floorplan to the home but guessing it has had a couple of makovers. Was good for the pooch too but she didn't like the stairs to the backdoor much due to her age. Would definitely book again.

WONDERFUL

This property was very clean. Comfortable furniture and bed. Modern amenities in kitchen, everything you could need. We were there in August and it was very warm and cosy. Good location, close to beach, close to Ardrossan. Bonus that we could take our dog and very secure backyard. Could not fault it. Easy check in and out, hassle free.

Great place for a relaxing break

A really nice place in a quiet location and short walk to beach, plus glimpses from dining room & front deck to the sea and Ardrossan. Equipped with everything we needed, plus we appreciated the nice extra treats - thanks! We particularly chose this as bed linen & towels were included. 2 loos helpful, comfy bed & sofa. Convenient to Walk The Yorke trail when we wanted to walk or cycle.
