Location just behind Senshogi temple. You enter in the street level where ther is a 6 to 9 p.m. optional meal served by excellent Chef, who is trained in gormet cuisine , michilen style. 500 yen. Delish, for me a plus, a very good vibe. There is an elevator and I was on mixed dorm maybe 8 beds. There were no just female non mixed. The top floor has awesome view of city and tables. And full kitchen to make a meal. Best experience for Japan, and I also went to another temple in the neighborhood,Flying something, so interesting, and a museum down another street with a female poet, it was 2 floors some English. I will recommend tentoten and return.
I think the biggest plus for TenTen Guesthouse is the staff. They have assembled a group of good people. They attend to the needs of the guests very well. The set meals they serve during weeknights is also another good thing especially if you don't have specific dinner plans.
In terms of location, it's very near Senso-ji and good dining options that are not that crowded. It's 10-15 minutes from the Tokyo Metro Line and the Toei Line. From Tokyo Station, you can also ride the bus and get off at a stop 8 minutes away from the guesthouse. I'd say it's still pretty convenient but I think it's better if you are not carrying any big luggage.
Towels and locks are for rent while indoor slippers are for free. A toothcare kit can be purchased as well. There is a coin laundry machine inside the guesthouse. It would be nice if they can provide all of these things for free.
Overall, I had a wonderful time in TenTen Guesthouse. I'd probably stay there when I visit Tokyo again.
