“The mountains of North Carolina are for the soul!!! Choosing this rustic, away from the hubbub, down the gravel road getaway was perfect for recharging, reminiscing, relaxing and spending time with old friends who don’t NEED bougie to have a good time!The hot tub was so nice after a day of hiking and the beds were extremely comfortable for a night of rest! We visited the pool one day for a refreshing cool down and met some lovely residents! If you want a great burger, we recommend Stacks in Mars……

“Over all the description of the property was spot on. The cleaning staff needs some pointers. Perhaps they can take some time and clean the coffee pot, empty the lint from the dryer, and cob webs along the floor by the registers. We didnt use the hot tub or the grill, we didnt want to clean them to use them. There was a faint odor of propane near the large tank. Other wise we had a blast.Barnardsville really got demolished by those storms. I had no idea it was that widespread. ”

“Very quiet spot tucked away, can’t see any neighbors. House is clean and nice and open. Kitchen is a teeny bit sparse, but did everything we needed. Included coffee and smores is a nice touch. ”

“Our stay at Yes, Deer was absolutely perfect! As first-time visitors to Beech Mountain, we couldn’t have asked for a better location—close to all the activities we wanted to do while still offering amazing privacy on a tucked away road. There was deer every time we looked outside, the kids toys were such an added bonus & we received snow one day! Some restaurants were closed for season but that didn’t bother us at all because the crowds were minimal. With so many kid-friendly activities nearby,……
