Hilltop guest house with easy access to I-15 freeway. This two story, fully furnished house with spacious rooms and beautiful views from both levels has two balconies and sits on three acres of avocado and fruit trees. Has gazebo, fountains, 20x40 pool (not heated and not warm enough for swimming November to early June), private patio overlooking valley and hills. This vacation home offers you the choice to just relax and enjoy the quiet, beautiful area or you are only four miles from the freeway and all that San Diego and Temecula have to offer. Beaches 20 miles away. Seaworld and Zoo 40 miles away. Wild Animal Park 30 minutes, and Disneyland only 75 miles away.

Clean and cozy guest house with an amazing pool! The setting is beautiful and relaxing. Checking in was easy & hosts were communicative throughout. Having a quiet house in a gorgeous location was a perfect landing spot for exploring the area!

Great stay with great views
We absolutely loved this property! We are a family of 7 and we all enjoyed our stay here. It felt like a trip to the cabin with beautiful views. I enjoyed my coffee every morning on the back patio with the views and peace and quiet. Mel was friendly and we felt very welcomed. I loved how the outside of the property was decorated and the inside living room felt like home. We were able to relax, make food and spend time together with no problems. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Family Getaway
This property was amazing. Beautiful view, a nice backyard eating/sitting area, BBQ grill, and of course the pool. Mel and Tina were so nice. They checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Mel was even nice enough to show us around some of his car collection. The house was well kept and well stocked with everything we needed, including pool towels, board games, yard games, a cooler, and even an air bed. The pool was clean and we had a lot of fun playing in the pool every afternoon/evening. We had such a great time at this amazing house. We hope to be back soon!

Quiet, Comfortable, Nice View, Difficult Access
This house is located in the mountains on a narrow road that snakes its way along the mountainside with some switch backs. It takes about 10 minutes to drive this winding 2 mile road with white knuckles. If a car comes from the other direction, one driver has to pull to the side and hug the road and stop for the other to squeeze by (just to illustrate the road width). Its a little uncomfortable if you're not used to it, especially with one side of the road often on a cliff edge. Once you get to the property, the view is quite beautiful. You won't have that view of the pool. That pic of the pool is taken from the owners home. There is no view of the pool from the actual house you will be staying in. The pool is not far, you just can't see it so that's misleadng. The house itself is good. Spacious enough. Comfortable. Everything worked. It's just that if you are looking for convenient access, this is not the place. We were not expecting the remoteness of the location so it was a little inconvenient for us. Overall, the house is good. Pretty much everything one NEEDS is there. It is a guest house, so the owners live on site. The owners were super nice and friendly. We only saw them once in the 8 days we were there.

Peaceful family vacation
From the moment we saw the view we knew we were in paradise. The house was well-maintained and had many sleeping options. My family Grandma, mom, dad, and 2 kids (ages 9 and 12) had a wonderful time. The pool was such a fun way to pass the time. The house had everything we could need and Tina and Mel were the best hosts. We were able to order instacart for our groceries meaning we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. The AC units in the rooms were great and kept us nice and cool when we weren't splashing around. This property is one we would love to visit again. Thank you Mel and Tina for a wonderful peaceful 4th of July. We loved it!

No bath upstairs bedrooms. Steep stairs caution. Personal opinion are items need replaced, kitchen utensils, dishes, bath towels. Bringing up a few things would make a better experience. Very quiet and secluded. Great view

Million Dollar View!
It's definitely a interesting drive to get to the guest house. The first trip my wife was a bit scared. But in all honesty I thought it was a great adventure. Then after a few more trips into town she became used to the drive. The pool and endless views far make up for a little drive, in my opinion.The house itself is tidy and clean. But you can tell the place is well used . However fully functional. Our family found it to be an oasis every night and we quite enjoyed our stay. All things considered this house is incredible.

Breathtaking and perfect place.
We had a road trip from San Francisco and this was our last stop for 5 days. We wish we could have stayed longer! Everything you need and more. The views are breathtaking and it was so peaceful. Loved watching the wildlife by the spectacular pool. The house was well equipped and had absolutely everything one needed. The hosts were extremely friendly and super quick to respond. Our family of 6 stayed comfortably in this beautiful cottage for 4 nights this summer!!! We loved it!!! It was a great location to go into San Diego to the beach and then head back here for a relaxing evening!!! The pool was fantastic!!! Best pool we have ever had at a rental property!!! The views were also gorgeous!!! We are thankful for the memories we made at this property!!!

Hidden Valley Stay
It was great, a bit of an adventure climbing the hill to the house. Bearing left when in doubt going up hill is good advice. Following house numbers good idea also even though numbers can be a little funky or slightly out of order as you get closer to house. The view was fantastic, the pool was gorgeous and house, with outdoor fountains and all, had all we needed for a good stay.

Stunning Views
This home by far had a drop dead beautiful view. The home was comfortable, clean and the property was very well maintained. The host were very accommodating and was there to meet all of our needs. We never had to ask because we had everything we needed at our finger tips. We arrived an hour early and Mel said "welcome home" for the weekend and allowed us entry to the home early. We had guests over for my mother's 77th birthday and everyone was in awe of the property. I would like to go on to say that Mel & Tina you truly have a diamond in the rough.

The outdoor patio is wonderful. There is a fire pit that keeps you warm in the evenings and early mornings. The view is really great. Lots of birds and wildlife to see. The owner is very nice as well.

Exactly what we needed for our staycation. Beautiful views, nature, and solitude. The pool is beautiful, even though it was too cold to go for a swim, the sparkling water against the blue sky was relaxing and refreshing.

The Views On A Budget
You come here for the views. It is very close to another home, that you can see and looks over the pool. It is not private. Most of the place needs updating. Odd floor plan and kitchen does not have a dishwasher. But if you are on a budget and want a good view, this place works. Owner is nice and it's a drive to get to the place. They charge a cleaning fee, but the renter has to do quite a bit of cleaning that is typically included in the paid cleaning fee at other VRBO's.
