“We stayed the weekend at Bear Bluff retreat to hike nearby state parks and view the waterfalls. It was perfect! The cabin is exactly as pictured. Everything is new and the amenities are well thought out giving you everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient and the view is spectacular! We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunsets and peace each evening and a calm cup of coffee each morning. The star gazing is amazing! I haven’t seen that many stars in years....

“A gem hidden in the mountains! This home is pure mountain bliss! Nostalgic, bringing back childhood memories of trips to the mountains with grandparents. The night sky was celestial! The sounds of nature sang to us in the night and awoke us in the morning. The cabin was VERY clean and peaceful. The beds provided a comfortable and refreshing sleep. We had a chance to greet Lydia as she was taking her morning walk, she is very pleasant and joyful! ”

“Beautiful, peaceful setting. Loved the cabin and all the farm animals. Lots of nice touches throughout the property. We enjoyed a day of relaxing on the lake between hike days. We used the canoe, enjoyed fishing, and had our first experience with kayaking. Also enjoyed a walk around the lake. Loved our two doggie mascots and the ponies. Saw the pig and a cat but only saw the peacocks from a distance. We had lots of laughs with the rooster. He certainly took his job seriously. We highly recommend...

“This is by far the best place we have stayed in. We were there Aug. 18-23 Our family, daughter, son in law and 2 grands met us there to celebrate husband/dad's retirement. The accommodations were top notch. The enclosed porch was a favorite spot. And with a beautiful kitchen so well equipped there was no reason to go out to eat. ”

“Exactly as listed. No laundry facilities on the property tho - so plan ahead (that was my fault). A recommendation for the laundry service was given, so thank you to the host!! We were on a motorcycle so packed light - our stay was perfect!! I’d stay again in a minute!! I’m adding pictures from Burgess Falls and Falls Creek Falls which I highly recommend if you stay here”

“Overall this property wasn’t too bad for someone not spending much time in the cabin itself. I wasn’t very impressed with the cleanliness. There were dishes with greasy fingerprints on them. 2/3 rugs had multiple stains throughout, dust on lamps, and what looked to be like mold on the air conditioner ? The furniture in the living area is cute but not much use for comfort. For the price and not being in the cabin much of the time it wasn’t bad but i probably would not stay here again if I planned...

“My wife got this for me as a surprise 2 night alone time getaway. I live 2 hours away so the drive was a perfect distance away. If you live in a rural/farmland area, the neighborhood near the cabin is nothing unusual. I didn't see or hear other people during my stay. Great seclusion. The woods surrounding the cabin are not walkable but give a beautiful atmosphere. I am usually very worried about wasps near cabins. I never saw any at the cabin.The cabin was very clean and provided typical...

“This was the perfect stay for me and a friend who were visting the surrounding area for the waterfalls. We mainly needed a place to sleep and this little cabin was perfect. The small kitchen had everything we needed and the shower pressure was better than expected. There wasnt much room for "hanging out" but there was a table outside and a fire pit. The host responded quickly and left clear directions. ”
