"Staff was great. The lobby closed at 10 pm but allowed us to chexk in late which was a great help since we just drove 16 hours. Didnt say long. There were a few shady people in the parking lot late at night but they didnt case an issue. Small town feel"

"The El Rancho Motel was great. Very clean, friendly. Their concern for our comfort was nice. The only complaint was that Hotel.com had overbooked the room we were to be in. The lady that runs the motel was able to offer us another room. Next time we will book directly through the facility!"

"Thermopolis is a quaint little town. The hotel is on the edge of town which is no big deal as it only takes about 10 minutes to drive through the entire town We liked the how clean and spacious the rooms were. I would definitely stay there when we return in."

"Overall very positive experience. Was Hot while we were there but AC was more than adequate and kept the cabin cool. Kitchen was well supplied with the basics needed for cooking. Was a great grocery store close by in town with great selection and reasonable prices. The driveway in is a little rough but very manageable if you keep your speed down, after all it is a working ranch driveway. Great privacy away from the highway and other housing. Was about an hour and 20 minute drive up to Tensleep lake and the area we were hiking. The first 30 minutes of that drive is through pretty barren country but after that you are going through a beautiful canyon and then into the mountains."
