Even though the motel was busy, it was quiet at night. Many of the travellers are older or families. Not a party scene, which we appreciated. Rooms are large and spacious. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, a warm and accommodating staff and they are family run. We have stayed with them many times and will continue to do so when our travels bring us to the Cape Cod area. Obviously their prices have increased quite a bit from previous years but what hasn’t? If you’re a biker, there’s no need to drive anywhere. Easy access to the bike bath and at least 2 ocean beaches you can ride to in about 15 minutes. And easy access to food with restaurants on each side of the property or take advantage of the microwave in the lobby or the great fridge in the room. I love the Southfleet. My family and I have visited every year for 20 years. The owners and staff are like extended family, they are so kind, helpful and know us by name. Located in our favorite town on the cape, minutes from the ocean with an indoor pool and hot tub, an outdoor pool, fire pit and bikes. The southfleet never fails and is filled with happy memories for me and my family.
