“The building didn’t have any logos, the carpet was musty! And a cockroach was in the bathroom. The front desk ladies was nice.”

“We truly enjoyed our stay! The home was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas, which made it feel warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The host was fantastic—very responsive and accommodating to anything we needed. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable stay.”

“Very Nice!”

“The whole place smelled like weed. When we checked in the receptionist would not get off her phone and just kept yapping to someone. She was the only person working. The room was filled with stink bugs which were most likely let in by the previous guest trying to air out the room because it smelled like cigarettes. The bugs got in because the window screen had a hole in it. The receptionist did try and vacuum them after we complained but she missed a few. The bathroom in the room was pretty……

“Not pet friendly and needs new management.”

“Rooms were smelly and not very clean”

“Great place, wonderful host, nice neighborhood. Very happy. This is a regular stay for me. Highly recommended!”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The bed was comfortable. Rooms were clean. The farm animals were entertaining. I would definitely book this cottage again. Thank you.”

“Excellent stay. Especially for this reasonable price point. I’ve stayed at higher priced hotels that had less friendly service. Not only was the staff very helpful at this Best Western was so clean, quiet, great shower pressure and shower head. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Very clean and cozy beds! The breakfast here is one of the best I’ve ever had at any hotel! On weekends though it doesn’t start until 7am. We were up super early so it would have been nice if it started at 6am. No complaints on anything else.”

“Serena. Or Sierra? Was very helpful. She made me feel comfortable on my Stay. Enjoyed the hotub too! I liked the Laid back vibe. Thanks!”

“Traveling with spouse and an in-law, I was highly pleased from the time we opened the front door ! A tastefully decorated house with more features than anticipated. We will definitely book our next stay with Lisa, when we are back in Portsmouth, Ohio”

“I loved this place! I will stay there again!”

“The property was immaculate, gorgeous, and my kids had a lot of fun kayaking and fishing in the pond. We saw blue herons, deer and fish during our brief stay.”
