“I really want to give 5 stars for this place- but unfortunately…,,,,The location and the house is stunning! But the let downs was the cleanliness. The spa was disgusting and had broken glass by the gate. Nearly every piece of cutlery, tray, plate and cup was dirty. No hand soap or dishwashing liquid. The first night no hot water. The fire pit is on a side of a hill- no chance for confit- and the house is 12 people- 3 double rooms 1 room with 4 bunks and a downstairs with 2 sofa beds. But no one……

“It was perfect for our few days away with our dog, to day trip around the area and surrounding towns.The polished concrete floors were a fantastic surface for our dog to walk on and to keep clean, also the yard areas were dog secure. Location is close and an easy walk to supermarket, main shopping strip & eateries.The double glazed windows were ideal in blocking out street noise.The heating was efficient and also used the wood fire place, if staying here BYO firewood/lighter. “We were keen to try a tiny house experience. We were of the impression from the photos that we would be in a tiny place that was looking at a lake and secluded. Instead No water views and houses nearby. However it was clean, quiet and good for a single night stay. It was also a hot night and no windows to open for cross breeze so we were reliant on air con. :(”

“Overall it was a nice little cabin to stay in for few days however alot of maintenance is required. The doors inside the cabin didnt close properly or lock very good, the blinds didnt close properly and were broken, the couch was broken under the seat which was awkward to sit on, and even with the heater on it was cold and drafty inside the cabin especially the bedrooms.The pool is a great size and the bbq facilities and eating area is great. The self contained kitchen was very practical……

“Felt very welcomed on entering this beautiful home, Large spacious home well appointed facilities and heaps of space to have the whole family enjoy our time together. It had been touch and go as to whether the recent bushfires would put a stop to our stay. The communication with the Book High Country team, was exceptional. Loved the fact that we could assist with pumping our tourist into the local traders community.Thoroughly enjoyed our annual family get together, with family members……
