"Overall the property is nice, but could use a re-fresh and some renovation. Everything appears to be a little dated in the common areas (couches, carpet, rugs, etc) The staff is incredibly friendly, polite and helpful and the best part of the stay."

American's Should only Use the Monterey Hotels
"For Japanese standards the room is spacious. I tried many other hotels in Japan and American's should probably only use Monterey Hotels which are throughout Japan for the comforts we are used to and reasonably priced. However very disappointed in the hot springs. Not only here but throughout Japan. ..."

"駅から続く歩道橋伝いに行けるので、実際の距離よりも近くに感じ、まわりに飲食店もあり、とても便利でした。 施設新しくはないものの、清潔で、大浴場もあるのはポイント高い。延長コード、空気清浄機、最新テレビでクロムキャストもでき、個人的に欲しいアイテムは揃っていて、快適でした。価格も手頃だったので、総じてコスパが良く、また仙台にくることがあれば利用したいです。"

"The breakfast is good exceptional. It's close to the station. It's probably the best option in Sendai for two beds in a non-smoking room. Can service is easy, but we mostly walked. Friendly for English speaking visitors. Just stay here if you have a reason to be in Sendai proper."
