“I have used Hotel Ballast exclusively when traveling to Wilmington, NC. I have always had the use of a walk in shower. However, this trip was different. I was placed in room 637 which had a bathtub with the use of a shower. I was not given the option of a room with a walk in shower. Based on ones age and to prevent accidents, rooms should be age appropriate based on guest needs. The room also had an extra door. I could see other guest or employees walking by that door. ”

“This property is in an awsome location. We parked the car and did not get back in it until the end of our stay. The riverwalk, shops and dining were all wonderful. The area is noisy at night, but knowing that up-front was helpful.”

“We had a great stay at this sound-side duplex. The place was clean, spacious, and nicely updated, with everything we needed for a comfortable family trip. One of the highlights was the peaceful view from the dock — a perfect spot to unwind. The location was also convenient, just a short walk to the beach access. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we’d definitely come back.”
