Room was very clean but it was very, very noisy! It appears that part of the problem was that the door was not well insulated and did not close properly but the main problem is that the hotel is located on a major road!

Electrical issues and Roach Infested
Check in: The gentleman was not friendly. Our room was roach infested. Called the front desk and he said he would get it taken care of. Noone showed. I went to the front desk on Sunday and another gentleman was sitting on the bench away from the front desk. I told him and he offered a room change. I said no because we left the next morning. I will not be staying there again. The cable line had short in it and the light switch for the bathroom had a bad connection. It was difficult to get the light to come on within wiggling the light switch. What a dump!!

The room was good and clean. The bed was soft, too soft for me. The furniture is what surprised me. The desk was so wobbly i thought my laptop was going to topple it. The mirror was tiltednin a way that was obvious, and i looked for a camera behind the mirror (nothing seemed there). Trim was also peeling off the tv stand/refrigerator holder. The fridge almost fell every time I opened the door it was so out of balance. The microwave worked well, and it got the job done. Every staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was fine, just wanted more protein available.

The first room I was signed had black mold in the bathroom. When I complained they moved me to another room but didn’t seem very concerned about the situation n the first room. Front desk clerk at check-in seemed bothered that she had to put her phone down to check me in. Staying here was a mistake.

The address goven throught the Expedia booking enail took me down the road to a dodgy service station. Took a while doing laps of that block before googling the address differently and finding the right place about a mile away. Room old, bed barely made, towles/linen stained and rubbish still in the bin. Good enough to sleep but not a comfortable place to be.

The smell here is terrible. As soon as we walked through the door to the hall our room was in there was a strong smell of cigarettes/marijuana in a supposed nonsmoking area. We left our luggage in the car because we didn’t want it to pick up the smell. The smell deterred us from doing anything here. We are only spending one nights get here and it can’t go fast enough. We do not recommend this at lace at all. Very disappointed.

Overall stay was fine but several things should have been better. Pool was closed because of a "permit" issue, looked clean and nice so probably something that should have been taken care of already. Dead bolt on door didnt work, a little unsettling when staying in a strange place. Breakfast was not great, the usual things were offered- cereal, waffles, muffins, toast, but when the initial small offering ran out it was not replaced. Outside lights were bright and curtains did not properly block out so it looked like it was still daylight.

The pool closure due to a "permit" issue is disappointing and not up to our standards. We're also sorry to hear about the deadbolt issue and the breakfast experience. My wife walked across the street to CVS to get cleaning supplies! The toilet seat was covered in urine when we arrived. The room was not well cleaned.
