"The view was beautiful volcano views on our patio and at breakfast daily! Our room was decorated for our anniversary on arrival with chocolates and wine. Daily room cleaning and turn down service. Very glad we rented a car because the walk was very long to the amenities since we were in the back of the property. The spa was absolutely amazing and relaxing. The prices for the spa were very reasonable. Breakfast was plenty and lasted us through the day. We got stuff for sandwiches for lunch as they had a fridge in the room which was nice. Did eat at the pool bar one night and was mediocre. The thermal pools were too hot in our opinion. Highly recommend tabacon spa which had over 20 thermal pools with different temperatures they offer day passes. We did enjoy the “cool” pool. Drinks there were a little pricey but very good! The front desk is very helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend this resort! "

"Beautiful cabina in the forest. We heard and saw many beautiful birds. Nice hikes from property and easy to get to waterfall. Breakfast was delicious. "

"This property really had a cozier and peaceful feel than what was pre imagined. Loved the private hot tub on our private balcony for a night soak. Room was large and perfectly cooled. Bathrooms are beautiful and huge. With their waterfall shower Hot spring pools were amazing l. Not crowded at all. All the different temperatures made relaxing easy as taking 10 steps. The view of the volcano is unobstructed and BEAUTIFUL "

"First of all the grounds are absolutely AMAZING. They have a huge area with hundreds (thousands? of acres). The landscaping is lush, beautiful and well maintained. Multiple beautiful pools, swim up bars and more. Their onsite restaurant has a good menu and the service was prompt. The breakfast buffet was also very extensive. The room we were in was a dated, but was spacious and clean (95/100). The bed was VERY firm and it was a bit like sleeping on a board. I like a very firm mattress, but this was hard even for me. My wife hated it. So this would be a 3.5-4.0 based on the room, but the grounds were so beautiful (and we spent almost no time in the room anyhow) that overall the resort is a 5* "
