There are also a lot of ants, so don't leave ANY crumbs unattended. Location and garden were amazing... "If you are an outdoor enthusiast enjoying wild nature and camping like experience then this cabin could be a great lodging option for you. However, if your expectation is quality hotel standard accommodation then this property might not suit you. "We loved this place! Very charming and beautiful, highly recommend for families but not necessarily for couples or friends. Only things missing from the hotel: a gym and a bit more of a daytime vibe/activities (Yoga, workout classes, etc) and maybe some entertainment. The venue closed down very early every night, so perfect for those looking for a quieter experience. Although the location is incredible and full in nature: we had monkeys visit us everyday! :)"

"We just returned from an amazing 11-day family vacation at Margaritaville Beach Resort Playa Flamingo with our two teenagers and had a great experience overall. This was our second time to this resort and it doesn’t disappoint The resort was very clean and well maintained. Our family room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, which made it perfect for traveling with teens. The staff were all English-speaking, extremely friendly, and always eager to help. Both bars served excellent drinks and have non-alcohol options. We chose the breakfast-only plan and it worked out perfectly. The buffet had something for everyone, and on some days there was a made-to-order omelette station which was great. The rest of the food at the resort was a bit mediocre and somewhat bland, but it really wasn’t an issue because there are many great restaurants within walking distance. The Italian restaurant on site does have great pizza though. The location of the resort is fantastic—right on the beach and an easy walk to Flamingo Plaza and the Flamingo Marina for shops and restaurants. The resort provides beach lounge chairs, and security will set them up for you right on the beach. We also rented boogie boards from the resort which the kids loved. The beach is very safe with great waves to play in. We even saw a couple of stingrays and a sea turtle during our stay, and the sunsets were absolutely beautiful. Overall, it was a fantastic family vacation and we would definitely return. 🌅🏝️"
