"The staff were incredible and so helpful. The cabins are open air; just screen windows, so if you hate being damp, this is not the place for you. There are also a lot of ants, so don't leave ANY crumbs unattended. Location and garden were amazing... Definitely a "roughing it" kind of stay, so be prepared, and bring waterproof bags or ziplocks for your electronics"

"It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. "If you are an outdoor enthusiast enjoying wild nature and camping like experience then this cabin could be a great lodging option for you. However, if your expectation is quality hotel standard accommodation then this property might not suit you. "This was a great hotel for us. We stayed two nights: after our arrival in San Jose, and then again before our departure. The shuttle is so easy to spot when you're tired (it's blue), the front desk team excellent, and the breakfast was great. On departure we had an early flight and were provided a to go breakfast. We took a to go cup of coffee and it was just right! There is also a Denny's right there for an easy dinner. Our only complaint (and why it's 4 out of 5) is the air conditioner and fan is very loud!! Depsite that however, we'll stay here again on our next trip to CR!"

"Hotel and grounds are very nice. Staff was fine. Pools were beautiful. Did not care much for the food. All restaurants, except the steak house was a buffet. Getting reservations for dinner was difficult, which was confusing, since they were buffets. Ride from Liberia airport was bumper to bumper, took 2 hours. Roads were 1 lane in each direction. Rooms were fine, and house keeping was very good. All in all would not return."
