“Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them.
On the hole, everything else was excellent.
There was no recycling facilities, which was quite a surprise, and also a slight disappointment. Everything else was above...

“This was a one night stay on our way to Edinburgh with our dogs. It was exactly what we needed a comfortable, clean and well equipped room right next to a lovely pub that is also dog friendly. Sonia and the team couldn't do enough for us, fetching water for our dogs after a long journey. Asking if we had everything we needed. We had a good meal that night and a lovely breakfast the following morning. Such a friendly place, we will definitely be back!”
“2nd time staying at Beamish Park, the most dog friendly hotel. Staff were all so friendly. Food was really good, and dogs able to be in set locations in the restaurant.
Room was clean and bed very comfortable.

“Fantastic stay, lovely food and wonderful staff. Perfect location for Beamish, rooms were very comfortable and well appointed.
The only down side really was that the room was hot and was unable to reduce the temperature.”

“On entering the property we was greeted by the reception staff they were very friendly and helpful, they made our short stay feel at ease, had everything we needed and the owner was so polite even carried my bag upstairs and said anything we need just ask. Really can’t fault our room was lovely felt homely & cosy, the area was nice & quiet. Highly recommend this place. We had the family room as it was the last one left for us to book & was a great size room. 10/10 ”
“We have just had a wonderful stay here as my other half was doing the Great North Run.
The staff were so helpful polite and attentive.
The room was excellent spacious .really comfy beds full bathroom and had everything we needed as well as very quiet.
So now comes the restaurant........ wow just wow the food was top notch all freshly cooked and some of the best Italian we have ever had.
Portion sizes are not for the faint hearted ie great for a pre run carb load tea for my partner but so...
