There are staff who take on the roles of various locals that really bring this place to life. Beautiful setting, lovely walks around the site. The rooms are in desperate need of updating. The pool area was nice however the pool was FREEZING!!! This hotel has progressively rundown over the years. They obviously don’t employ chefs anymore as none of the food is edible and it’s obviously brought in food reheated. I ordered the loaded nachos which looked like someone had opened a packet put them in a bowl and drop some sour cream and guacamole on the side no flare no imagination All the other food I tried was blue power the breakfast our team is extremely poor for a hotel pretending to be a four star hotel, they need to invest in a proper food and beverage manager and going back to trying to win local clientele. What’s sad about this hotel is that it’s in the most fabulous settings but let down by a lack of vision and poor leadership.

There are not many breakfast item options. The drinks in dispensers are watery and tastes terrible!! They don’t even look appealing to want to taste.Not even orange juice was any better..Ps:Add pineapple juice/mango juice at least to that display,The dispensers and the dispenser area looks dirty and their beverage machines are on the line up but are all faulty.The restaurant floors and chairs are not properly cleaned.The water in the sinks takes forever to drain away.Broken bathroom door..outdmoded TVs,no access to YouTube etc. I didn’t enjoy my stay..it’s prolly a hotel for golfers who don’t really bother indeed..you could do better 👍.Scott at the pool gets my 4 stars and the lady housekeeper gets my 5 stars.

Excellent hotel in quiet location

Hotel is stunning inside and out. Staff all friendly but service at the bar tended to be slow due to only having one set of pumps for draught beers and with a large amount of guys who had just finished their rounds of golf and wete a bit thirsty, but not a major issue.

Clean room, although it smelled like damp slightly and there were flies in the bathroom. The hotel itself was lovely and the dinner and breakfast was very good.
