Wonderful Vineyard Villa
An absolute gem. The Villa is very well appointed with custom finishes and furniture made by the hosts (their profession). It’s private, safe and a stone’s throw from the market for easy food shopping and all the necessities provided for home cooking. We stayed a week and did day trips in all directions. Coming home to the refreshing pool was a cherry on top. Anne and her family, including their very friendly dog, were welcoming and delightful. This is a special place and gets 5 stars on all accounts!! Thank you Anne!!

Even better than the photos
Brilliant gîte for coolness inside in the hot sun, and super efficient, quiet aircon in bedrooms. All very tastefully presented. Lovely pool, and tranquility, but also well-connected to a wealth of small towns, Carcassonne and simple attractions, such as ruined abbeys, bastide villages… perfect for a spot of walking (best early morning and evening in high summer this year). Our hosts, Anne and Frederic, were the most delightful, friendly couple, and exuded warmth and kindness, as well as genuine interest in the family. Excellent bakeries in Alzonne, and a smaller Intermarché half a mile away were really useful. Good take away pizzas too from a kiosk in town. Great Kayaking 30-40 mins away by car. Definitely an area to explore further. Highly recommended accommodation.

Our perfect getaway!
We were very pleased with the accommodation and felt at home right from the start of the holiday, with the owner Anne appearing on our first evening with fruit and most acceptable bottle of wine! The location necessitated a hire car and the adjoining village of Alzonne was limited in its amenities. This was counteracted by the nearby Intermarche and fabulous adjoining boucherie/charcuterie. The pool was beautifully maintained daily by Frederic. Such a peaceful, tranquil place to stay!

A gem 💎 in a fabulous part of France.
My family and I have just had the most fantastic week at Anne & Frederic's gite. The property was absolutely perfect inside and out. Anne & Frederic could not have been better hosts. They made us extremely welcome. The bedrooms and bathrooms are like a boutique hotel amd the dovecote at the top is the perfect reading/writing space. The pool is pristine and offers both sunny spots and shade. Surrounded by fields of vine and sunflowers, there are great paths to walk or run right from the door. The local villages are all very friendly and beautiful - particularly Saissac and Montolieu. The nearby teleski-nautique is a great place to keep teenagers entertained with wakeboards, paddleboards, and lake swimming. Carcassonne airport is a 20 minute drive away and the property is not on a flight path so it couldn't be better situated. In a nutshell - I would recommend this to any of my family or friends.

Total relaxing holiday
The gite was in a rural quiet position. Typical French rustic. We had our dog with us and the property is very secure with a river/stream over the field about 100yards away which was good for the dog in the extreme temperatures that France experienced whilst we were there. Great swimming pool with decking and furniture and shade if wanted. House very clean and comfortable, had everything that you needed. Supermarket and deli/butchers and within 20 minutes walk. Carcassonne a beautiful old city is maybe 20 minutes drive. Anne, Frederic and Callela ( the dog ) were wonderful hosts, very friendly and there if you needed them and not if you didn’t. Would certainly go again, highly recommended.

Perfect 'get away from it all' retreat.
A fabulous property - very clean, very comfortable and well equipped. We were delighted to find that the property was exactly as anticipated from the pictures. We felt relaxed and at home instantly ! The pool was very much appreciated even in October ! In the summer you need go no further, unless you want to. Anne and Frederick are perfect hosts - there when you need them to answer a question or give a recommendation but totally unobtrusive otherwise. The location is ideally placed for exploring the region; both Toulouse and Narbonne are within easy driving distance. The Intermarchè in Alzonne has pretty much all you need and the Charcuterie next door to it is a must. In addition to every type of meat imaginable there are fruit, veg and (home made ?) dishes like ratatouille and cassoulet to take away as well as cheeses and locally made ice cream. Carcassone itself is only a short distance away and the property is easibly and quickly accessible from the airport. We very, very much hope to be able to return in the future as it's such a perfect place to chill out while at the same time being close to everything you might hope for in terms of entertainment or sightseeing. Even Canelle the resident dog is a delight; very tame and playful.

Perfect property for our July holiday
We stayed for 2 weeks in July at this property and it was perfect for us. The rooms were tastefully decorated, the villa was well equipped, the pool was lovely and the owners (and their friendly dog) were very welcoming and helpful. There was a BBQ and an outdoor seating area which we used a lot. We flew in to Carcassonne airport and it was only 15 minutes drive to the house, which was ideal. The medieval city of Carcassonne was stunning and the Pyrenees were an easy drive from the property. Montolieu, about 10 minutes drive, was a pretty village with some good restaurants. The owners also gave us some good suggestions for places to eat. The weather was really hot, in the mid 30's on some days, so we used the pool and sunbeds quite a lot. However, the high temperatures meant that it was hot in the bedrooms at night. My husband found some pretty running routes from the villa which took him around the surrounding countryside. Overall, we loved our stay here and would highly recommend this property.

Quiet, tasteful and relaxing environment
We had a fantastic week with 4 adults and a dog. Anne and Frederic made us extremely welcome. The pool was marvelous with perfect poolside furniture. The gîte has been beautifully and tastefully restored. Lots to do and places to visit. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

One of the best holiday properties we have stayed in.
We booked the property so we as a family could celebrate Richard's forthcoming 80th birthday. It did not disappoint, the house was charming and the heated pool wonderful. Frederick kept the pool in immaculate condition. Anne was very helpful - keen that everything was always OK. We would not hesitate in recommending it. The village of Alzonne has a supermarket and a wonderful butcher, both open on Sunday mornings - very near to do the shopping. We had a great holiday, despite some poor weather, and were very sorry to leave but hopefully will be back some time. We do miss playing ball with the family dog - keeps you fit!!

Beautiful, spotless, thoughtfully kitted out, great location and wonderful hosts
We had a great time at Tantrigue. Anne and Frederic were the most thoughtful and kindest hosts. Lovely people who are willing to go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The gite is really thoughtfully kitted out with everything you could possibly need. The whole place was spotless and the bedrooms looked like boutique hotel room, attractively laid out and spotlessly clean. Like the gite, the swimming pool is beautifully looked after and is salt water which we really liked. As you can see from the photos, the building itself is gorgeous and was always a pleasure to return to. The location is great. We went on tours to the surrounding area. The gite is within easy reach of Carcassonne and any number of other picturesque hill villages such as Caunes. Toulouse is fantastic and Coullieres is worth a longer trip. But it is Anne and Frederic who make the place such a joy. They are really lovely people and couldn't have been kinder.

A lovely place
We are a family of 4 and we had a great time at this gite. The setting is superb and the gite was clean and spacious. The pool is brilliant (the best we have seen). The hosts were very friendly and helpful. There is a small village nearby with 2 bakers and a very small shop. If you want cafes you will need to travel to neighbouring villages. We were sorry to leave after 2 weeks as we enjoyed our stay so much.

Perfect stay in gite with excellent facilities
The gite was in a lovely quiet rural position, very clean and beautifully furnished. Well positioned for discovering the area. The swimming pool was excellent with different seating areas in the sun and shade. Ann and Frederick were very welcoming and attentive hosts. A perfect place to stay.

Well appointed property in a good location with helpful owners
The gite is part of an old farm building occupied by the owners, set amongst vines and wheat fields. The road from Alzonne - a handy but not picturesque village - is only a few hundred metres away though scarcely heard. Just two of us stayed in the property so we had loads of space and the best bedroom. The bedrooms were painted in a soothing distressed grey with beautifully toned curtains and bed linen. The kitchen is well provided with clean and modern equipment. The pool is very well maintained by Frederic, heated to a pleasant 27c. We didn't use the spacious living area as the weather was, overall good. Frederic and Anne are attentive yet unobtrusive hosts, always concerned that we were OK. They also have the most gorgeous dog we would happily have brought home! The property may not suit some as there are a lot of stairs, some quite steep, and the pool is about 1.4m deep except on the tiered steps. If we hadn't booked our return hotels we would have loved to have stayed longer.

Maison extraordinaire
Das Haus ist perfekt. Die Umgebung mitten im Weinfeld ist ruhig. Der Innenpool ist super. Für mehr Wärme sorgt der Whirlpool außen. Das Haus wurde top renoviert. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hiflfsbereit und haben gute Ideen für Ausflüge. Tolle Sessel. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Excellent Séjour
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires qui nous ont guidés pour les visites de cette magnifique région. L'aménagement intérieur du gite est parfait, très jolie déco, fonctionnel, spacieux et bien équipé, propreté irréprochable. Traumurlaub in tollem Ambiente
Das waren 14 Tage in einer wunderschönen Unterkunft, die sehr stimmig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist. Man sieht hier bei jedem Detail, die Liebe und das Herzblut, das die Vermieter investiert haben. Die Bilder im Internet entsprechen zu 100% der Realität, vermitteln aber kaum den Charme des Originals. Die Vermieter haben sich sehr umfassend um uns gekümmert, ohne dass man sich gestört fühlte. Man wurde bereits mit einer großen Herzlichkeit begrüßt und das Gefühl bei "guten Bekannten" zu Gast zu sein, hat sich durch den ganzen Urlaub gezogen. Anne und Frederic sind einfach großartige Menschen und die nettesten Vermieter, die wir bei unseren Urlauben kennenlernen durften. Man kann einen Aufenthalt hier nur rundherum empfehlen. Wir waren auf jeden Fall begeistert.

Exceptionnel !
Ce merveilleux gîte est admirablement rénové et qui plus est, implanté au beau milieu des vignes. La décoration est très soignée, et il y règne une atmosphère chaleureuse et paisible dans chacune des pièces. Le patio extérieur est des plus agréable pour y passer de bons moments. Petit bonus, une piscine couverte, très bien entretenue, avec un petit salon, et un coin sport (vélo, babyfoot...), idéal pour un vrai moment de détente. Cerise sur le gâteau : les proprios sont très sympas, au besoin, se démèneront pour que votre séjour soit dès plus agréable. A réserver sans hésitation !

Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit!
Wunderschönes Haus, stilvoll eingerichtet inmitten der Weinfelder. Die Besitzer des Hauses, Anne und Frederic, sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und dennoch zurückhaltend. Den Hund haben wir in unser Herz geschlossen! Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt und können das Haus wärmstens empfehlen. So sollte Urlaub sein! Carrefour in Carcassonne sowie der Schlachter in Alzonne/ am Kreisel sind der Hammer.Ein kleiner See zum Spazierengehen befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Super schönes Haus mit ganz tollen Gastgeber!
Vom sehr herzlichen Empfang bis zur Verabschiedung war alles wunderbar. Sehr sauberes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Anne und Frederik waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vom Pool bis zum Grill ist alles in einem sehr guten Zustand. Bis ans Meer sind es ca. 1 Stunde Fahrzeit. Es gibt auch viele schöne kleine Städte die wir erkundigt haben. Wir waren auch in Barcelona was die gut 3 stündige Fahrt auf jeden Fall Wert war. Das Haus kann ich nur zu 100% weiter empfehlen. Immer wieder gerne Anne & Frederik Liebe Grüsse Erik & May

Wohlfühl-Oase bei Carcassone
Anne und Frédéric haben eine wahre Wohlfühl-Oase geschaffen. Ein Feriendomizil mit Klimaanlage, liebevoll eingerichtet, mit schöner Sonnenterrasse und Indoor-Pool, in dem wir wunderbare Ferien verbracht haben. Nous avons passé une semaine magique au pigeonnier. Bâtisse magnifique, location de qualité, coin relaxant, Anne et Frédéric ont toujours été présents et ont su par leur accueil et leur gentillesse nous accompagner dans notre séjour .. Ce sont des hôtes charmants que nous avons eu grand plaisir à connaître, leur chienne Cannelle est adorable et a fait quelques belles parties de jeux avec notre labrador. Nous reviendrons c’est sûr !
