Location is good. But very dirty, it's like abandoned house haven't been cleaned for centuries. Staff are so bad when requested a room to be cleaned. Asked 3 times before they cleaned (i meant they just took rubbish out). They just don't clean anything in a room.

outdated old style hotel
The staff at reception on day 1 was not polite at all. When asked to replace the room to lower level was refused straight regardless of the hotel was floors were empty. Was brushed off by saying that is the only room they have available. The overall rooms are outdated old, Duvet was not clean having stains.

It was close to Khao San Rd, I didn't know that when I booked the Hotel, so that was a pleasant surprise. It is Centrally located between many Top Tourist hot spots, which made it easier to see and do more in less time, and didn't have to fight BKK Traffic. It's walking distance to the River which makes taking Boat Trips easy. The Location Makes this Hotel a Top Choice in booking it again in the Future.

The property is old but it’s clean. The room has no new anything except the flat screen tv. It smells old, like your great grandmother’s house who hasn’t moved anything or bought new furniture in 50 years. However, it’s clean and livable (aside from tiny ants). My room didn’t have working AC but the ceiling fan cooled down the room just fine. There’s also a small fridge but it didn’t work. For the most part, the hotel was quiet except for occasional children crying at night. The staff are polite but don’t talk much and I hardly ever saw them. If you want anything like more towels, toilet paper, or your trash thrown, you’ll have to ask. Otherwise there’s no attempt to clean the room. You cannot beat the price and location of this hotel! There’s a lot of other hotels and hostels in the surrounding area. In addition to tons of laundry services. Also, Two minutes up an alley way leads to streets that have many restaurants to choose from. I like Momo restaurant the best!

My rooms windows were not airtight, was litterally reception dining outside my window, i had them closed the whole time cause all the ciggarette smoke drifted in, the room was smokey the whole time, bad electricity connections with plug sockets, full of bugs, some mold in the bathroom and could do with a new shower, the tiling in the bathroom i stayed in was dangerous and slippery and the step that keeps the water out of the bedroom across the bathroom door was litterally sharp as a blade no protection on the edges, the staff were quite vague barely knew the most basic of english which is abit tricky despite it not being thailands national language, I think its alright for a night at most. Its your choice whether your willing to take the risk with it., Also another note for anyone, its super loud and i found the experience wierd at times like in the middle of the night 1 of the staff members i assume cause they were always speaking thai with the same accent every night was banging about scrapping the chairs about intentionally to be a nuisance, They will play music and bang about all night till about 5 6 am, just a dark dingey place to be honest

Hotel is like a 2 or less stars hotel. The misses: 1/Don’t expect the staffs to come and clean your room. You can be gone all day no one will come change the sheets, towels, etc. Unless you tell them. 2/ Equipments were barely working. AC unit was just in working condition but you can’t control the intensity of the fan or power. It’s at the minimum so it will take time for the room to cool down. I just left it ON when i left the room. Bathroom and restroom are just the minimum. In this part of the world, everyone use a bidet. So if you need toilet paper. Go get it at 7-eleven or ask. I just didn’t bother and got some at the convenience store. The equipments are old so sometimes, for some reasons, the smells from sewers come back to the room. Close the bathroom or you’ll have surprises. The goods: 1/ it’s closed to several restaurants. You’ll have plenty of choices to find whatever you want to eat. Staffs from the restaurants are friendly.

The location is very good, in the old town neighborhood among the locals. All main attractions are walkable distance but there are also many buses to take you all around the city, just check the lines Googl maps. Khao San road is also near and places to eat, many temples are in the area. Muay Thai arena is also 15 minutes on foot away. Location is great. But... The hotel itself is very old and shabby. The photos you will see on the bookig sites do not match what you will see on the spot. The room were covered with tones of dust everywhere I touched, the fridge was not working well, turning into ice anything put iside to cool. In front of the windows there are some panels so there is no air circulation inside and is always too hot. I don't know when the hotel was built but seems since then was not touched a single thing nor repared, nor clined. At least the bed sheats and towels were clean.The toilets had the worst condition I have ever seen. And there are a lot of small yellow ants all over the room. I left open a small bag of pinuts inside my bag and in the morning found it full of them inside. Sometimes they got in the bed. Left side of the hotel is very noisy in the morning, a lot of small birds and crows are making such a noise since 5 am that wakes up from a sleep. Or a neighbour doing some early works in his yard, or very often someone is riding a motirbike there. Not so comfortable stay, the price tells everything but what is presented online is misliding.

Very poor hotel
We booked two rooms for a night and when we turned up the hotel had no rooms available even though the booking was paid for. The man working at the hotel was extremely rude and was shouting at us. The hotel offered no support. Other people were also turning up with bookings and were being told there are no rooms available. The hotels itself looked terrible, very dirty and old. Staff are rude and take no care in the hotel and customers. We’ve travelled Thailand and paid less for better accommodation.
