“This is our second time back. We love the house and how many people it can accommodate, big windows in the common area, big kitchen, fireplace, grill and access to the slope.”

“Gorgeous property, very clean with all amenities provided. Derek is quick to respond to messages and very helpful. It's the perfect cabin for a group of friends or a family. The property is surrounded by a river on 3 sides and the sound of the water makes for the perfect peaceful retreat. We're planning on coming back during swimming season!”

“3 friends and I booked this place minute so we could ski northern VT. It's an easy hour's ride from Jay and just 30 min to Burke. Wood stove, Amazon Fire TV, and plenty of sleeping space were all pluses. The hot tub was a nice soak, but the jets basically didn't work. Cookware consists of the usual random assortment of medium-quality pots and pans with no lids. We made do but I wouldn't plan on any major meal prep unless the owners upgrade the cookware. Overall a great place to shower and rest...

“Wonderful ski trip to see eclipse with family and friends. The house was perfect. Nice big table for all to gather for a meal and games. Kitchen was very well stocked, though I would recommend to bring a large pot. The non-stick fry pans were in perfect condition for eggs. TV worked well to catch the NCAA Championship games. I was able to access my accounts with the Roku. Great common spaces for lounging. Drive slow on the dirt roads are rugged. Community roads are nice for a walk, hiking boots...

“We visited for a weekend, to attend a local graduation. The house is lovingly cared for - immaculate, well appointed, and in a serene setting. Jim is lovely, too. The grounds and dock are great and the water looks crystal clear. I would recommend this rental without hesitation.”

“Honestly the stay was fantastic! It was cozy, clean, and offered everything we needed for our short stay in the area. Eric made sure to give us the rundown on what we needed to know and had no communication issues. And while the place may be teeny tiny, that doesn’t diminish from the stay and experience; made for a perfect place to unwind after a day out and about. Definitely recommend!”

“Beautiful cabin. Spotless. More than enough room for two people. Never seen so many stars at night. Did some hiking and relaxing. Fire pit every night. There is a hardware store in Hardwick if the firewood is damp. Not going to have much cell service in surrounding areas so plan accordingly. Wick at the cabin though. Would love to bring family here.”
