Self Contained Country Cottage - semi rural property PET and child Friendly

Lovely rural property, complete with a working chook house - yes farm fresh eggs for breakfast. Self Contained Cottage has a fenced in area to keep pets safe. Sit on the large covered verandah and watch the wild life go by which includes Rabbits and many types of native birds, or step out side the fenced in area for a lovely tree swing. Only 12 minutes from Bendigo CBD, less to Bendigo pottery, or various short drives to wonderful haunts like Colbinabbin Silo Art, Echua, Heathcote, Bridgewater, Castlemaine, Maldon, Reasdale & Axedale.

Generous apportioned cabin, which can sleep up to 4, Separate Bedroom with Queen Bed, Separate Bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen and family room complete with a sofa bed, full cooking facilities, continental Brecky offered upon request. Condiments supplied include Coffee. Tea, sugar, oil for cooking, salt and pepper and limit Spices.

Walking distance from Huntly Hotel providing smoke house and traditional pub meals, Award winning George's Bakery, Take away Gourmet burgers El Gordo's, a friendly LGA supermarket, hairdresser and Laundromat.

Quiet get away

Lovely accom, comfy and quiet!Loved the breaky options. This was perfect for my hubby and I with our 2 year old who loved the chickens and bunnies as well as playing in the yard.

Great little out of town stay.

Cottage was clean and tidy with everything you would need. Fresh eggs supplied by the resident chooks was a lovely touch.Great relaxing quiet setting close enough to the main city of Bendigo. Just a shame we had to leave early.

If we could have we would have given 6 Stars, perfect location and just what we needed to stop and relax. Loved meeting Murphy and all the Chooks and Mitch, so we missed you Meagan, highly recommend if you want to just stop. First class amenities as well.

This cottage was immaculate, very new facilities, has everything for a lovely stay, and suited our family including the furry members very well. Very well equipped. We had a lovely stay and would love to return on future.

GREAT STAY

We stayed with our 2 dogs and couldn't have asked for more. Clean with all the necessities and the fact breakfast supplies were included was a big bonus. The cottage yard with access to the bigger yard was fantastic for the dogs. Would happily stay again.

The cottage was above our expectations. It was clean, tidy and welcoming, along with little added extras such as bread, milk and spreads for toast. There was no skimping on things such as tissues and we had everything we needed.

Short overnight visit

Perfect place to stay

Was extremely happy with our accommodation. Just perfect traveling with 2 dogs. Nice fenced area around the cottage for the dogs and access to a bigger area once the gates were closed. the cottage was spotless. the heater was turned on for us so it was cosy on arrival. Plenty of quality teas, coffees, bread, milk and fresh eggs. It was amazing. Beautiful stay at Huntly Cottage

Such a sweet place to stay! The fresh eggs, condiments, and neat and tidy kitchen were a pleasure to use. Our 9-month-old particularly loved seeing the chickens, rabbits, and roos that were about the place. Very cosy place. Would recommend. 👍👍
