The large covered deck has rocking chairs and a swing. Sitting there rocking while looking over the stream and into the woods felt like being a part of a fairytale or like a scene from The Secret Garden. Inside the cabin is just as wonderful. The living room area has a full wall of floor to ceiling windows...

"House is absolutely gorgeous! There were only 3 of us on this trip so we didn’t use all of the bedrooms. Having breakfast on the covered porch overlooking the river was heaven! We went fishing & caught some huge trout. Tubing down the river was a lot of fun. We also loved the hot tub & pool table. The beds are the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on. So comfortable that we have been looking online for where to purchase one for our home. Everything was perfect & we can’t wait to come back...

"Almost Like Home is a beautiful cabin in Blue Ridge, with amazing views! Mathew and Sara were fantastic hosts. They were super quick to reply to inquiries, offered a helpful "things to do in the area" listing, and even gave us their phone numbers in case we needed to reach out for any reason (which we didn't). The cabin itself was great - clean, spacious, and well stocked with all the essentials for a pleasant get away. I definitely hope to return for another relaxing weekend soon!"

"We did a family roadtrip for spring break through several states, but wanted to stop and linger longer in the mountains, so we chose Lookout Point for our couple nights in the mountains. "We stayed for two weeks in this spacious, well equipped cabin. I loved working remotely on the screened porch, and my husband enjoyed fishing in the creek. The only drawback is the very steep driveway and the parking. We have a truck, and the last two nights the shared driveway cabin next door was occupied by guests with three pickup trucks, and every time we wanted to leave or arrived back home, we had to (pleasantly) negotiate moving the trucks around so we could access our parking spot....

"We loved our stay but we were glad we took our all-wheel-drive vehicle, as approximately the last six miles leading to the cabin were gravel roads full of large pot holes and washed out ruts. The driveway leading down to the house is rather steep (I estimate it is about a 6-8% grade) and is made of loose, crushed stone aggregate. We found this property lacked many of the stocked items (smaller dishes, utensils, glasses, cups) which we are accustomed to find in the properties we rent. This...
