You'll enjoy and find comfort on the 600 square foot outdoor living area complete with a wood-burning fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating, and a dining table that requires barely any steps to the kitchen. Perfect for dining alfresco and taking in the mountain air. You can take your dog for a walk (yes, your dogs are welcome!) along the fenced-in property for a small taste of the wondrous nature that surrounds you. It's a short scenic drive to destinations like Amicalola Falls, the Toccoa Swinging Bridge, wineries of Dahlonega and the shops and restaurants of downtown Blue Ridge are only a 10 minute drive down the mountain. A spacious tri-level showplace with airy, light-filled rooms, central air/heat and ceiling fans for your maximum comfort, the cabin is a welcoming home away from home. In the family room, the warm glow of the gas fireplace showcases the wood walls, floors and ceilings, and the barrel hoop chandelier highlights the large, eight-person dining table. The large sofa and loveseat provide a cozy gathering spot for watching the 60” flat screen TV, and the open kitchen makes meal preparation a social exercise. It is well appointed with wood cabinets, granite counters, a Keurig coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, electric stove and oven, fridge with icemaker, and all the implements you need for prep and serving. If you'd rather dine outside, there's a gas grill and plenty of seating on the screened-in porches, where the double bed-sized lounger swing is great for cuddling with that special someone while you enjoy the view. You can soak under the stars in the four-person hot tub or gather by the warmth of the fire pit, which has seating for eight. Downstairs in the game room, you can play billiards, board games, or cards and kick back and watch the DVD player-equipped 55” flat screen TV. Property is fenced in so your dogs are safe but free to go out on their own. The screened in porch with its swing bed was loved by all for reading & naps. The waterfall was a nice addition. All the bedrooms had king beds and their own bathrooms so there was no drawing straws. All the bedrooms were on different levels so there was privacy. There were 2 screened porches, a small waterfall on property with seating, a firepit with seating. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen. All light switches were labeled which was super helpful. The property has a fence around it- which was not the same as having a fenced in yard when you have small dogs under 10lbs. We were nervous at first when we got there that they would escape through the large openings in the wire fence or get lost roaming since the property is multi-leveled, but it ended up being fine and they loved exploring. The description talks about 2 acres so I assumed we would be secluded and was surprised to see neighbors on both sides of us, but in re-reading it says "2 acres of unobstructed views", which is true if you are looking off the 2nd story back deck. The road to get to the house can be a bit scary for some - my mother refused to drive back down until the day we checked out- she was terrified. But we were centrally located to lots of area attractions. I was super excited about having a hot tub except the jets were super weak to the point where it was useless to even turn them on so the hot tub quickly lost it's appeal. My tween and teen loved everything about it- especially the pool table. Overall we had a great time and would do it all over again with managed expectations. ##### Kelly W.
