“The little house is precious and very comfortable. It was clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. There were a couple of things that need addressing. These are minor and owner may not be aware. Wine opener is broke and needs to be replaced. The chairs on the dock deck are broke as well and need replacing. We didn’t bring any chairs with us. “We had a great visit! The house is very remote, no cell service, which was what I was looking for. The back deck is awesome. The house is surrounded by trees and the deck stayed cool all day so that is where we spend most of our time unwinding. “Our stay was great!! The house is beautiful and had more than enough room for our two families and grandmother. We could have easily had one more family with us. The only negative for us was the logistics involved with bringing boats with us. We had to drop boats and trailers off to be able to get to the house then unload and go hook back up to go launch the boats. The nearest marina we could find was a 15ish minute truck drive away. “This home is cozy and has a great view to relax and enjoy nature. We came to Cullman for Rock the South and this was a convenient location and a nice place to relax and unwind. Bring your kayaks boats and jet ski as there is a dock ready to use. You may want to check water levels and such. Lewis Smith Lake is a nice lake !!! When I reached out to the host, they replied promptly we will recommend and stay again !”
