Spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms in the northern Black Forest

The Murbachhof is located on the edge of the Northern Black Forest, near Baden-Baden. Forests and meadows border directly on the house. In the middle of nature and yet central. Many hikes are possible on foot from the house, excursion destinations can be reached by car shortly.
With 3 bedrooms, the apartment offers plenty of space for the whole family. Young and old have fun on our donkeys Hubby and Emil. Help is also welcome with the stable work.

Fun for everyone
We arrived to a clean organized space with so much to explore outside. Our questions were answered quickly and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. We were sad to leave the donkeys but we’ll have memories made at this property forever. Would recxomend.

Incredible hosts!!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Hiccup with getting into the property as previous guests were late leaving, so by the time we'd settled in all the surrounding restaurants etc were closed! Michael and Manuela could not have been more accommodating... they made us (4) a meal in their restaurant (which is usually closed in the week), gave us drinks, and sat chatting with us or ages.... and wouldn't let us pay!! They grow their own fruit, and produce their own schnapps, gin and liqueur, and gave us samples after the meal, and then gave us a tour of the distillery and bottling rooms. Their products are second to none and have won many awards! So we bought several bottles each as a thank you for their hospitality. The apartment is superb, very modern and finished to a very high standard. The kitchen is comprehensively kitted out making self catering very easy. Downstairs there is a huge double bedroom, large shower room with sink, toilet and walk-in shower, kitchen, dining area which seats 6, and a comfortable lounge with TV. Local information including maps and bus timetables are provided. Outside there is a private patio which seats 6, and has BBQ facilities. There is free onsite parking. The only drawback is that the property is on a hill, and about a 10 minute walk from the village centre, which could possibly be a little restrictive for some, but there are 2 restaurants and a pub with beer garden to loosen the limbs for the walk back up the hill!! The surrounding countryside is beautiful... well it is in the Black Forest!, and it's only a 10 min drive into the centre of Buhl, which has all the usual shops and amenities. I could not imagine anyone staying here to be in any way disappointed, Michael and Manuela have put their all into their business, and are rightly proud of their achievements, and this is reflected in the standard of their apartments and hospitality. They also speak fluent English! I would definitely visit there again 10/10!

Some lovely days of peace and quiet
We stayed in this apartment with our two children (4 and 5). It was all we needed, everything was there. We also slept very well, the rooms could be darkened. Manuela was really friendly and caring. She even provided some toys for the boys. What we certainly also liked, was the restaurant where we enjoyed a really good meal at the day of our Arrival. We would certainly recommend this appartement.

Nur enttäuschend: Schädlingsbefall und keinerlei Entgegenkommen
Ich schreibe nie Bewertungen, aber diesmal musste es sein…. Wir waren über Weihnachten als Familie in dieser Unterkunft, weil wir nicht zu Hause feiern konnten. Geplant waren drei Tage im schönen Schwarzwald. Checkin lief über eine Schlüsselbox ohne Kontakt zum Gastgeber ab. Bereits bei Ankunft entdeckten wir mehrere tote Schädlinge in der Küche und im Wohnzimmer. Nach wenigen Stunden stellten wir dann auch lebende Tiere fest. Die ganze Küche war von Kakerlaken befallen, die sich in der Spülmaschine eingenistet hatten. Sofort haben wir den Gastgeber kontaktiert. Wir wurden mit dem Hinweis alleine gelassen, doch die Spülmaschine heiß laufen zu lassen. Dies hat keine Abhilfe gebracht. Über die Feiertage wurden wir dann mit dem Problem komplett alleine gelassen, der Gastgeber war nicht mehr erreichbar. Auch Fewo konnte uns nicht helfen. Aufgrund des hohen Ekelfaktors haben wir den Aufenthalt dann frühzeitig abgebrochen trotz Feiertag. Bis heute weigern sich sowohl Gastgeber als auch Fewo einen Teil unserer Kosten zu erstatten und weisen jegliche Verantwortung von sich. Ich kann einfach nur abraten.

Schöne große Ferienwohnung
Wir waren über Silvester zu viert in der Ferienwohnung Mathilde und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt :) Die Wohnung ist wie im Inserat beschrieben. Auch die beiden Esel sind sehr süß :D In der Gegend kann man viele tolle Wanderungen machen und auch nach Straßburg ist es nicht weit :)

Komfort und Natur
Wir sind von Michael sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Er und Manuela sind aufmerksame, hilfsbereite und großzügige Vermieter! In der Wohnung haben wir uns alle wohlgefühlt, Großeltern, junge Eltern und das Kleinkind. Die Umgebung ist für Menschen, die gerne in der Natur laufen bestens geeignet, man kommt direkt vom Haus aus in die Natur. Unser Jüngster hat natürlich gleich mit den beiden Eseln sympathisiert. Schöne Wohnung im ländlichen Umfeld
Die Wohnung ist super gelegen um von dort aus Ausflüge in den Schwarzwald zu machen. Mit öffntlichen nicht ganz optimal zu erreichen, aber mit dem Auto ist alles was man benötigt gut und schnell zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sauber. Einzige zwei kleine Kritikpunkte: Spülung der 2. Toilette hat nicht richtig funktioniert und beim Duschen muss man sehr darauf achten, das Bad nicht unter Wasser zu setzen

Wir waren in der Wohnung ‚Matthilda‘ welche absolut den Bilder u Beschreibung entsprochen hat. Auch für das Auto gibt es genug Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Objekt. Der Muhrbachhof liegt schön im Grünen mit einer tollen Aussicht bei klarem Wetter. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Gaststätte die von den Gastgebern betrieben wird, ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Super Familien-Unterkunft für Ausflüge im Nordschwarzwald
Die Ferienwohnungen im Murbachhof sind sehr gut geeignet für Familien, direkte Erreichbarkeit der Ausflugsziele im Nordschwarzwald (leider nur mit dem Auto, die Anbindung mit dem ÖV könnte besser sein). Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, unkomplizierte Kommunikation. Gute Gastronomie.

Super Aufenthalt
Die Wohnung ist super geeignet für Familien oder große Gruppen. Die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig,valles da was man braucht. Bäcker, Geldautomat und Gaststätten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Manuela und Michael sind darüber hinaus noch super Gastgeber, die einem bei Problemen oder Fragen stets weiterhelfen.

Man ist willkommen
Wir waren 14 Tage in der größeren Wohnung. Eine sehr helle, nett eingerichtete Wohnung mit außerordentlichen netten, sich nie aufdrängenden aber immer präsenten Gastgebern. Ja, das Haus liegt direkt an einer mittel befahrenen Straße. Aber kein Schwerverkehr und gegen Abend und zur Nacht lässt er stark nach. Durch die guten Fenster hört man nichts und Nachts hörten wir im Schlafzimmer nach hinten durchs nun offene Fenster nur den Bach. Und ja, gleich unterhalb der Wohnung ist eine Gastwirtschaft. Diese ist aber, wenn überhaupt, nur am Wochenende offen (empfehlenswert), die Gäste verabschieden sich meistens gegen neun/zehn Uhr und das ohne Türenschlagen und lautem Rufen. Die Straße führt in Windungen und Kurven wunderschön zur Schwarzwaldhochstrasse hinauf, diese durchzieht den Schwarzwald wie eine Perlenkette, an denen die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten wieder auf gereit sind. Runter zur Rheinebene geht ebenfalls sehr schnell. Die Lage ist also ideal. Aber auch vom Haus aus kann man fast unmittelbar zu Fuß in die Natur. Unser Hund hat die morgendlichen Hunderunden am Bach entlang geliebt. (nebenbei: ein Bäcker ist ein paar Gehminuten entfernt... größere Supermärkte ca. 10 Autominuten.)

Wundervolles Ferienhaus für die ganze Familie!
Wir waren über Weihnachten 2018 im Ferienhaus "Mathilde" und durften wundervoll gemütliche Tage dort verbringen. Das Haus ist ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt und in einem top gepflegten Zustand. Die Räumlichkeiten sind super toll geschnitten, liebevoll eingerichtet und laden zum Entspannen ein. Es ist live dort noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Wir haben uns wahnsinnig wohl gefühlt :-) Die Gastgeber waren sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sogar einen Weihnachtsbaum haben sie für uns organisiert, um uns eine stressfreie Ankunft und harmonische Weihnachten zu ermöglichen. Das Essen im Restaurant wird mit viel Liebe und gutem Geschmack gekocht. Die Umgebung lädt zum Spazieren am Bach ein und ist für kleine Naturerforscher, wie unsere Kinder, ideal! Wir hatten ganz tolle Tage dort und kommen gerne einmal wieder! Vielen lieben Dank für alles!

Schöne Wohnung in toller Lage
Schöne Ferienwohnung mit guter Ausstattung in nettem Dorf. Eine Bäckerei liegt fünf Minuten zu Fuß vom Haus entfernt. Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Einrichtung ist neu, gepflegt und gemütlich. Unsere Kinder fanden die Esel toll. Praktisch und sehr zu empfehlen ist das hauseigene Restaurant. Wir bedanken uns bei den Gastgebern für fünf herrliche Tage und kommen gerne wieder.
