This hilly area was planted with olive groves ages ago, and this has remained unchanged to this day. The location in which the town is situated guarantees a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, but for those who feel like visiting the attractions of northwestern Istria, Umag is only a short drive away from Buje. Numerous historical sights, miles of coastline, Venetian houses and baroque churches are just a sample of what Umag offers its visitors.
