Nightmare at My Dream Place
This was my worst hotel nightmare yet. I got to the airport and no one was there from the hotel as I requested. I called the owner of the hotel and he lied to me and said no one was available. Then I arrive at the hotel and I am told that they were full and had lost my reservation. Would not even assist me in getting another hotel. It was late and raining.

I’d definitely use this place again.
In spite of being an inexpensive hotel My Dream Place offers everything a traveller could want....very comfortable beds and pillows...clean and tidy...tv...toiletries...excellent shower...decent WiFi. The staff were excellent, very smiley welcoming polite and friendly. Breakfast, which was included in the cost of the room, was served in the restaurant and included the usual Filipino menu. Overall a pleasant experience. I would use this hotel again without hesitation.

Second time!!!
Could not find our online reservation upon check-in. Rooms need a like blanket for the locals. Breakfast is free but the 15 item menu turned out to be two items. When we would check the box for the breakfast selection we were told that the selection was not available. Then went on for several selections until I requested to just check the items that were available. It was about three items. Orange juice is really orange drink. The room is clean and the shower water is warm. This was my second stay at the hotel.

Hotel and location ok, service disappointing
It was good located, just a foot-walk from main road where you can easily commute to all places but not too loud. Breakfast times are limited, if you need early checkout or similar they do not offer you anything else. Breakfast selection very limited. Forgot to make up room one day, even after reminding nothing happened and we manually collected new towels that night. Certain things were not available, what is fine but then we were not even allowed to use a chair 20m away from the hotel to sit and relax in the sun. Booked deluxe room (more expensive), but then wasn't able to get a queen bed so could have just paid the cheaper rate as no difference but didn't get a refund. Some staff that was enployed was very friendly though, not so much some others who were in charge.

I'm so sorry for the make up room. We will call out all the housekeeping about this matter. Regarding the chairs, 20 ,meters away from the hotel is near the road already, maybe they are just concern about your safety, maybe you will be hit by the vehicle passing by. Regarding the room, you book deluxe room, our bed specification is as follows: Deluxe Room - 2 Single Bed Premiere Room - 1 Queen Bed If you want a Queen bed, please book premiere room instead. Thank you so much for staying with us.

Nice budget hotel with friendly staff.
The best for a quieter neighborhood experience. The rooms are decent, clean and the staff are responsive and friendly. The bathrooms could benefit from some small attention but were very serviceable. It really appealed and rates a recommend.

Hotel has great staff!
IT WAS NOT EASY TO FIND THIS HOTEL BECAUSE IT HAS NO STREET ADDRESS THAT WAS LISTED BY EXPEDIA. FORTUNATELY, A GIRL AT A PHARMACY STORE KNEW THE HOTEL AND DIRECTED US TO TAKE A MOTORCAB AND WE WERE ABLE TO FIND IT. ONCE WE GOT TO OUR ROOM, THE AIR-CONDITIONER DID NOT GIVE ENOUGH COLD AIR, BUT SOMEONE WENT UP TO CLEAN THE FILTERS AND WE (MY SISTER AND I) FELT VERY COMFY, AND SLEPT WELL, FOR 2 NIGHTS. FINDING TRANSPORTATION WAS VERY EASY FOR US. THERE WERE PLENTY OF MOTORIZED CABS PASSING BY. FOOD DELIVERY WAS ABLE AVAILABLE.

A hidden gem.
very handy location near Robinson's Place and bus terminal to Cagayan de Oro. Excellent staff and good breakfast. No fridges in the room is the only drawback... but this is unfortunately common in the Philippines.

They don't grant special request
Notified them during the 2 months advance booking about getting 2 rooms and should be adjacent with each other as my children will be staying in the other room. They replied confirming the said request. But when i arrived, my room is located at the second floor and my children's at the first floor. During confrontation wih the front desk, the woman said there is no available 2 single beds at the second floor near my room. When i woke up in the morning, i saw the room fronting me having a 2 single bed.

Regarding the booking, we already reserved two rooms adjacent to each other for you, but you came in Very Early, our standard check in time is 2pm, and you beg that you can go inside the room already beacuse you are so sleepy. And the front desk, even ask if its ok that the second room will be in the ground floor since you came in very early and the room adjacent to you is not yet ready. And you said yes, because your too sleepy to wait. Sorry for whatever inconvenience it cause you.
