We arrived and the kids were immediately occupied by all of the toys in the play room leaving the adults the ability to unpack and get settled in without and interruptions. The house was stocked with everything you need for a day down at the beach, we really appreciated the chairs and big wheeled beach wagons to carry our stuff and the kids loved the plentiful beach toys.”

“Our family of four stayed at this lovely beach house over spring break. You can’t beat the location, just a short walk from the beach and not far from Carlsbad Village, grocery stores and restaurants. The home was very comfortable, clean and had a fabulous outdoor space. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and we took advantage of the outdoor gas grill as well. “We very much enjoyed our stay, being right across the street from the beach was very nice. My son was thrilled there was a boogie board and a wetsuit to use. Close to walk downtown to shops and restaurants. The only hiccup was the listing says 3 bedrooms, which technically it is but the 3rd bedroom is not a separate room like you would expect. The hosts responded quickly to my inquiries. Overall, my family and I will stay here again. We loved our trip!!”

“Our stay was in the middle of a "Pineapple Express" which was cold and rainy all week. However, the house was very clean and very comfortable for 3 retired couples reuniting for the week.”

“We completely enjoyed our stay here in Carlsbad! This home is truly a jewel and has everything we needed for our 6 week-stay. The location was so convenient to shopping, walking trails and amazing restaurants and the beach was withiin a 10 minute drive. The backyard is a perfect place to relax, soak up the sun and socialize with family and friends. John and Sharon are wonderful hosts and pro-active without being invasive!
