“We had such an amazing time at Cabins on Maple River. The cabin and property are absolutely stunning. The balcony over looking the river was so relaxing and peaceful. We did have a few very minor issues like the front bedroom bathroom sink was very clogged up but in a half hour i had it pkungered out and draining fine. The lights in the upstairs hallway were burned out so i bought some new ones and took care of that. Someone staying before us unpaired the remote for the back bedroom took a while...

“Cabin was very cozy. It is a bit smaller than we had anticipated but by no means was that a problem. Just be prepared that there is not much room in the unit. Overall we had plenty of room for our one night stay. ”

“The property was clean, quiet, and bug free on the inside. It was definitely Michigan weather. Air conditioning in the morning and heat at night. Lol. The lake was pretty and the loons were singing at night and in the morning. At night you havr a great view of the northern sky. No dark sky park needed. Firewood and charcoal seemed to be provided, which was a really nice amenity. It was a short trip so sadly we didn't use any of it. Next time we'll come for a week. “Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! Access to the amenities of the nearby hotels was also a nice bonus, although some of the hotel facilities are a bit dated and have some deferred maintenance.
