"This hotel more than exceeded my expectations. Super close to the 'Middle of the World' so perfect for those who are tight on time and want to see this site. The bedrooms were VERY clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. The service was wonderful. Very friendly owners."

"This is a hidden gem that even many taxi drivers do not know how to find it. By the way, taxi drivers here do not seem to use GPS at all, and I had to use my Google Map and terribly broken Spanish to help the drivers. "Hotel was very clean and very quiet. Hotel staff spoke very very little to no English, so that’s important to you it’s worth noting. 24 hour front desk, man to buzz you in and out of the building. Neighborhood very safe - very short distance to shopping center and restaurants. As a solo female traveler, I would stay again at this hotel."

"I had a great stay at the Zen Quito Hotel. My favorite thing about the hotel was the shower, immaculately clean and had one of those over head/rain shower type heads. "The hosts are so sweet. Breakfast is very good they will cook eggs and bacon fresh for you. The rooms are very clean with fresh flowers a lovely touch. There is a small bar where you can have nightcap. The area around has lots of restaurants and bars. The square seems a little sketchy but we had no problems and felt very safe. We would recommend a stay at this hotel."
