“I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. “Great little hotel above an English Pub. Was relatively quiet after the pub closed. Great central location, friendly staff, wonderful food.
