We were in Charlottesville for a soccer tournament and the location was very central to everything we needed. The pool was fantastic!! It is huge. So much fun for the kids after the games. Hotel is beautiful, with lots of amenities. Scott Stone, the AGM, was very friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable about the local attractions and restaurants with great recommendations. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this location. It is not really in walking distance to UVA, but it does have a nice trail system just behind the property. It's a good 45 minute drive to Shenandoah. The most important reason is the wonderful staff that feel like family to us. They always go above and beyond to be helpful, especially during the recent ice storm.
