“What a delight to show up at this quaint little cottage and find that it was as good or even better than pictured! Perfect for our small family to stay during a three day Penn State Graduation weekend; only about 30 minutes away from campus. Very clean and well-appointed. We used the grill outside for a lovely dinner. Owner communication was excellent, and they went above and beyond to help us retrieve an item left behind after we had checked out. Highly recommend this gem!”

“Overall the property was nice and clean with a wonderful view with the property overlooking the waterway and golf course directly across. Nice rustic decor with all the comforts of home away from home. The only area I would improve would be the cleanliness and upkeep of the upstairs patio. It is spring and of course you will have tree debris but there were more than expected insect webs along the railing that appeared to have been there for some time. “The owners were excellent hosts. Great value for the price. Located in nice neighborhood. Loved the rustic wood floor and antiques. Clean and warm. Owners kept the kitchen stocked with tea and coffee. Very “homey” feel. The open bathroom wasn’t a big issue for us since we stayed with family. Less expensive than any other hotels in the area, especially on a game weekend.”

“This is a lovely property and there were only minor issues with cleanliness such as dead bugs and spider webs throughout the rental which leads me to believe it is not thoroughly cleaned regularly. My major concern was that the listing stated that the owners who live in the house above stay at one of their other properties when the downstairs apartment is booked. Not only were the owners onsite and present throughout our stay, they were using the amenities such as the pool and they also invited...
