“This place is great. We stayed in the lodge. This was are first time ever there. Clean rooms, pet friendly, great,lake views. They have kiaks you can use. Paddle boards. You can even rent boats for fishing. Bob and his family was great. Him and his wife brought firewood down every night so we could have bonfires. We will diffently be back this time renting a cabin with private bonfire. Grill, and access to private little beach front. Really a great place to take vacations ”

“A secluded property with a lodge with many games and activities. We were greeting warmly by Elise who offered to carry our bags upstairs. Bob was similarly helpful - asking If he could pick up something in town for us, and carrying dinner and plates downstairs when we chose to eat lakeside. I would definitely stay here again and hope to do so. Bears Den was quiet and well equipped with good cross ventilation.”

“Loved the spot where the cabin was located on the lake. Enjoyed the splash pad and the other cabin amenities. Cozy, yet roomy and perfect for our families idea of a getaway. ”

“Very nice house, clean, and easy with nice backyard and lots of room and amenities! Everything was just as represented by the owner. Such a nice house with a great setup. Cook is an awesome small community! Wonderful breakfast and lunch options at coffee shop downtown. Cool theater which we have went to before but it was closed when we were in town. Clean grocery store. Moosebirds ice cream up the road! What could be better?!? ”

“Our stay was the best we have ever had on Lake Vermilion in many years of vacationing there. Tom and Steph have thought of everything at Sunset Lodge for an amazing visit. Sweeping views of the lake...facing west for Sunset viewing! 6 Bedrooms and many baths made our family of 10 fully comfortable. Viking range and double Kitchen Aid fridge, and a great selection of cooking implements made it a joy to have a family feast. Two sets of laundry and multiple TV's....AND a fully equipped game room……
