A very disappointing stay. We booked a deluxe sea view (with large bay window) double or twin room via Expedia. On arrival at the hotel we did not get the room we booked and paid for. According to Expedia’s description and photographs the room we were given was a STANDARD double room for SINGLE occupancy. As the hotel was fully booked we had to tolerate this very small room with four steps up to the bathroom and really not enough room for two people. The room in no way bore any resemblance to the room we booked and paid for. The hotel blamed Expedia for shunting us into this room as all the others rooms were booked. They insisted it was suitable as a double deluxe - Expedia did not describe it as such. Expedia were at fault and have now compensated us but the hotel need to make sure Expedia are representing their rooms in an accurate way and acknowledge there is n error there. I see from previous reviews we are not the only ones to experience this. It totally ruined our stay. The valet parking is very odd - cars are parked (by staff) in front of each other so you have to ask to get your car out. We did not use our car while staying as on arrival the member of staff that parked our car failed to put our handbrake on. Fortunately we returned to the car for our luggage and realised it moved when we opened the boot. We did not trust them to move the car again. The hotel need to look at Expedia’s room descriptions and make changes.

I really cannot fault our recent stay, the only irritating thing was when I booked online I requested a ground floor room due to health issues and never and any sort of feedback, when we arrived I again requested a ground floor room and was told that this hotel didn't have any ground floor rooms ( I didn't mishear this as my partner clearly heard it as well she confirmed) but this hotel definitely does have ground floor rooms and I do not understand why I was told differently. Apart from that obviously annoying episode the stay was really good
