“Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. “Awful service from bar and restaurant staff. Place is in desperate need of refurbishment as walls are cracked, water stained and falling apart. Was told to take a seat for dinner in an empty dining room and so I sat for 15 minutes in the empty dining room for dinner and didn’t get served, so walked out. Ignored at the bar when checking in. Breakfast offering was good. Plenty of hot and cold choices.”
