Cozy Cottage in a quiet cove with a great view. Two bedrooms and a fold out couch. Floating dock with a gentle slope. Paddle boat and canoe available for use. Screened in porch with wrap around deck. Horse shoe pits and fire ring. Public boat ramp near by. Boat rentals available at Smith Mountain Dock and Lodge Marina located in the same cove. Enjoy fishing, floating, or just relaxing on the deck. Come and see for yourself what all this beautiful lake has to offer. Over 500 miles of shoreline.

Old fashioned lakeside retreat
This small house on a cove of Smith Mountain Lake was the perfect retreat spot for my husband and me. We absolutely loved the large screen porch, facing the lake. We also loved the simplicity of this cozy cottage. We spent 5 days & never left the property! We never turned on the TV. We drove away already talking about when we could come again.

Lovely private cottage!
There is a public boat launch less than 5 minutes away and their dock is perfectly secluded like the cottage. Although there are only two bedrooms there is plenty of room inside and out. The deck and screened in porch area are wonderful for evening lounging and the yard is HUGE! It is convenient to several local restaurants by boat or by car. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. Don't miss out on this hidden gem. John and Sandy are the Key's to a great stay at SML.

Nice lake house
The house is exactly as described. It is fully stocked with everything you need. Plenty of room outside on the screened porch and large deck. Knowing the water was well water ahead of time helped us plan. We will rent here again!
