Room was exactly as pictured. Buildings well maintained inside and out. The maid checked with us every day. Perfect view of the beach from the third floor balcony, nice to hear the ocean at night. Definitely kid friendly with 3 pools and a mini home theater to boot. Has a small sandwich and coffee market plus 2 sit down restaurants. One downfall was by booking on Expedia we weren't notified of the $40 a day charge for "incidentals" took it 3 days to drop off our credit card and the other was that on Saturday evening there was a big party in one of the conference rooms and all those people parked in the parking garage and the extra lot, when we came back from dinner it took us driving around the block 15 mins to watch for someone leaving the parking garage to get a space otherwise it was a very nice stay.

Close to the ocean that’s a good thing about this hotel. But the room was so dirty. They didn’t even Change the sheets and I found a dirty face cloth on top of the shower curtain just gross.

We stayed for our honeymoon before embarking on our cruise to Bermuda out of Norfolk. The port was very close to the Inn. The Inn is beautiful and so romantic. The area around the Inn had several options for dining. The walkable area was so romantic with its old architecture and cobblestone streets. I would love to come and stay longer and experience their restaurants and the city of Norfolk. I would highly recommend the Inn to anyone wanting a place that is not a big box type hotel. If you want charm and romance this place is for you!!!!
