Relaxing & convenient
The house has a beautiful view of the water. Being so close to the Happy Harbor restaurant, we could order carryout & listen to the bands from the screened-in porch. It was a perfect getaway for someone who had relaxation on the mind. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

Lovely Spot!

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway and this property delivered! The cottage is just as advertised- right on the water, clean, well-appointed. Quaint shops, eateries and fun bars are near by. The owner's hospitality is top notch! We hope to be back again!

Holiday weekend
Nice roomy place, walked across the bridge a lot. Enjoyed the birds and boats . There is only the sidewalk on the bridge so for neighborhood walking be careful of the road. Enjoyed PeteyGreens. Front porch is so nice for sitting.

Lovely stay
Our stay at Rockhold Creek Cabin was very nice. The house was clean and well appointed, with plenty of towels and extra blankets if needed. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. The screened porch was fabulous...coffee overlooking the water is a wonderful way to start the day. The only issue we had was needing the PIN for the Roku so we could get Hulu, but the manager responded to our email within minutes and we were good to go. Would definitely stay here again!

Great little hideaway close to everything in Deale!
This adorable house had everything we needed for our short stay visiting family and friends. The house is as described, instructions getting in and out of the house were accurate, and the kitchen and linens were stocked!

Great time in a great location!
Stayed in Rockhold Creek Cottage with friends for the weekend, and we loved this home-- easily walkable to restaurants and right on the water. Our only regret was that it was too cold to hang out by the dock and enjoy the location. Everything was clean, check-in and check-out was very easy, and communication was quick and thorough. We had a great time-- we'll be back!

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay! We enjoyed kayaking from Athena dock right out back. The screened-in back porch offered a beautiful view of the water while having morning coffee. We enjoyed eating at Happy Harbor which is walking distance away. We went to a Navy football game and Annapolis is about a 30 minute drive. The house is comfortable and provided everything that we needed. I highly recommend :)

Great family retreat!!
Our family visited Rockhold Creek for a destination wedding and had a fantastic time!! Our family of 7 (6adults &1eleven year old) we’re very comfortable. The house is a mixture of old and new and was delightful! Fresh paint and newer kitchen countertops. Plenty of pots and pans and cooking/silverware. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of clean towels etc.. You’ll love sitting on the back porch and thoroughly enjoy the water views. All of us fished and crabbed off the docks and wished we had a boat to hook up and use to explore the water ways. The area is the perfect mix of water and rolling hills of farm land. All experiences with local people were wonderful. If you’re looking for a great place for fishing charters look no further. Or antiquing there’s plenty to see!!

Perfect visit! We celebrated my sons 9th birthday here- he’s a waterman in the making!
Excellent trip all around - great communication, clean, all the amenities. We spent our time out on the dock fishing and crabbing as I’d hoped to and enjoyed the company of the neighbor and locals. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with our kids that were just excited to be on the water. Many thanks for a perfect birthday adventure for our hound waterman!

Relaxing Vacation Right on the Water
The property was as depicted, just steps away from the water. The property had everything we needed and the master bedroom bed was exceptionally comfortable. Our first visit to Deale, we were pleasantly surprised by how many wonderful restaurants are less than a mile away, some within walking distance. Dockside was our favorite. If you love boats and are into fishing Deale is a great place to vacation.

We loved the area and the cuteness of the property. We flew here to spend time with our son who is stationed at Andrews AFB. It was absolutely perfect. Very peaceful and catching crabs off the dock was fun. We met the owner next door and he was so nice.

Calm and serene getaway
This charming cottage provided us with a much needed quiet getaway. Comfortable and well appointed, we loved sitting on the dock in the morning and using the screened in porch in the evening. The hosts responded quickly and generously to an unforeseen situation. We would definitely rent from them again.

Quiet retreat.
My husband, sister and brother-in-law spent a long weekend here. It is a cute little cottage. It was neat, clean and mostly updated. Two bathrooms, 1 full, 1 half, were a plus. It only has one double bed and four twin beds. Two double beds would be better in my opinion. My sister and her husband had to sleep in separate beds. It was nice because it’s right on the river with its own dock. We loved Happy Harbor on the other side of the bridge.

Comfy cozy cottage

Bright, pleasant, peaceful place for a winter weekend
The house was clean and welcoming, and the view of the creek, which is visible from most windows, is lovely. Although it was too cold for us to stay outside in the yard or on the screened porch for very long, we were so glad to be able to walk right out to the water and to (briefly) walk on the dock. We also enjoyed getting to see diving ducks, great blue herons, and bluebirds. The location is very convenient, with several local restaurants within walking distance, and the house is in close driving distance to places like Franklin Point Park and some Chesapeake Bay beaches. The welcome packet was helpful, and the house's amenities were just right. We really appreciated this pleasant place for a weekend away.

Wonderful Christmas getaway!
I can’t say enough about this lovely property. It’s in a great location close to some spectacular seafood. My daughter and I walk on the DICK’S every morning and evening to enjoy the scenery. They were working on the dock one morning early but we were still able to enjoy. And the docking is new! The reason for the four stars On cleanliness was nothing major, but just a couple things that were missed from cleaning. No issue for us. We hope to return again and again to this property and enjoy the different seasons. The host was just lovely and wished us a Merry Christmas and there was a cute gnome mug with candy waiting for us when we arrived.

Harbor setting, lovely screened porch view
We enjoyed a restful week watching harbor activity from under the shade trees and from the porch. Happy Harbor restaurant is in walking distance; there were plenty of other restaurants in close driving distance. Several places had good live music on decks overlooking the river in the evenings.

Great June visit!
We enjoyed our stay again at this beautiful cottage and my 14 year old dog is always welcome. Really love the Happy Harbour and the food and atmosphere at Skippers!! Checked out the dockside bar and also had amazing food especially the haddock. We will be back. Enjoyed so much! Thanks Richard for the great communication always and thanks Doug who always makes sure all is ok 👍

Cozy and great for low key week
My husband and I have occasionally rented houses for a week of “work from somewhere that is not home” (thanks, COVID) and this time we decided to go to the shore! This house was the perfect size for us and our two small dogs. The house is clean, the location is good, internet is strong and communication with the owners was perfect. It was just a bit tough keeping our dogs entertained (in terms of taking them on the long walks they are used to) but we made it work. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

The property is great. the location is a sleepy little town. Great for fishing and just doing nothing. The neighbors and owners are all very nice. I would stay there again no problem!!1 The kitchen pots and pans are Ok and the coffee makers were not cleaned very well ---- other than that its a 5-star accommodation

Fall weekend
The rental was mostly good for us. Just the right amount of beds which were very comfortable. Huge tv. Heating system worked well. Nice outdoor space which we couldn’t really use because it was too cold. Manager replied quickly to questions and inquiries. We like to walk and that was not possible around the rental because of the traffic. There isn’t as much to do in the area although we did like the dock at Chesapeake Beach. Because of this we will probably choose to go to the east side of the bay in the future.
