"Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing "

Unfortunately we didn’t get the pickup from the airport and we had to find our own transportation to the hotel. Over all was a very good experience and we will definitely be back . "

"Eden Atenas is a wonderful place to stay. The included breakfast every morning is nothing short of incredible!!! The staff was so nice all the time and were always available to answer any questions we had about the area. Our hot water went out on day 2 but the host graciously moved us to a cabana with instant hot water. If you get the chance, upgrade to a cabana…100% worth it"

"We started and ended our trip to Costa Rica at hotel La Rosa. Our rental car was dropped off to us there and picked back up there, and we used their airport shuttle service. It was so easy and convenient, and I appreciated not having to drive at the airport or in San Jose. The grounds are lovely, the staff are very nice and helpful and the meals are excellent. Will definitely return! Thanks for a wonderful and convenient stay!! "

"The property is in a secured neighborhood. They offer shuttle service to and from the airport. Breakfast is not included, but it’s a nice typical Costa Rican meal. A great place to stay when starting an adventure!"

"Just a brilliant but expensive boutique hotel. Suites are all based on coffee receiving stations and are brilliantly designed. Food pretty good. Views to die for!! Only issue is they need a pool "
