“We stayed at the Berlin on our way back to Canada. Spotless room. Really lovely, helpful staff. She booked us an airport taxi for very early the next morning. They were up when we were leaving at 5 am and gave us coffee and a take-out breakfast. We will stay there on our next visit.”

“Not sure id recommend for single travellers it's on a back street - near a busy bar. i turned the fan on to drown out the street noise. Lots of men hanging around. But you get what you pay for. clean comfortable bed. Basic apartment but fine for just a sleep over”

“Great location, just next to SJO airport (so airplanes flying by on top, but not during the night) and supermarket, with gated parking lot. Owner is friendly and easy to communicate. 2BR with small equipped kitchen and living room. ”

“This hotel was amazing, first we had done 2 different reservations (we added a night after), the second night we booked was a suite and the receptionist put us both nights in the suite which we really appreciated of him. Then the room was very clean and all what you need was present. The breakfast was very tasty, the buffet had enough options. A clear safe choice for a starting point in Costa Rica! ”

“Excellent proximity to airport but until 11pm there is plane noise. Starts again in the am but not super early. Convenient to major highways but traffic is a nightmare in San Jose. Allow hours to get out of the greater metro area”

“Free breakfast off the menu of the restaurant it's part of and closeness to airport is awesome when the plane and highway noises don’t bother you. It's somewhat buffered so I was able to sleep ”

“The property is well kept up. The rooms are basic, showing their age but clean. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was better than expected - coffee or juice, small fruit plate, then a larger plate with plantains, peas and rice, scrambled eggs, and what tasted like a hot dog. Everything was fine for the price and proximity to the airport ”

“Nous avon séjourné à la guaria en arrivant à San Jose la navet et venu nous chercher à l aéroport dans la nuit super pour ça la chambre était correct le site a une piscine et est propre le petit déjeuner était bon et simple je recommande si vous arriver à l'aéroport et chercher un pied à terre en arrivent”

“Rented Delux room with A/C. Bed mattress was almost rock hard and made sleeping uncomfortable, Shower control handles were difficult to operate and water pressure and hot water changed constantly during shower time. We were not able to stay for free breakfast, but coffee was available:wrapped muffin was soft and and almost tasteless. ”
