This is a beautiful second floor condo overlooking the pool, with a Gulf view, and only steps to the beach! We are located in a quiet, upscale area, very close to all of Destin's great amenities!

Grand Caribbean West is a quiet condo building surrounded by a tropical décor, in the clean, beautiful Crystal Beach area of Destin. Come enjoy the gorgeous view of the turquoise water and white sand of the gulf.

Grand Caribbean West has a seasonally heated swimming pool, a hot tub and a barbecue area. Plenty of parking space behind and in front of the building with very easy access to the units.

We are very close to the vibrant activities of Destin. Shopping, world-class dining, golf and tennis can all be reached in minutes. The street you cross to access the beach is called Scenic Highway 98, and for a good reason. It meanders through a picturesque, clean cut, upscale tropical area and is a slow-paced street with many speed-bumps and pedestrian crossings for your safety.

Please understand that, although this unit may sleep up to 6, IT WILL NOT ACCOMMODATE 6 ADULTS!

Great Week at the Ocean
This is the second time that we have stay in a condo at the Grand Carribean West. We love how close this condo is to the ocean with a small view of the of it as well and being close to Destin Commons was fun too.The pool is a great plus for my kiddos but the hot tub was closed while we were there which was a major disappointment for my kids since that is something that they really looked forward too because they had so many great memories of it from a few years ago. Overall, we enjoyed our stay - the property was great, the condo was clean, and sleeping areas were great for my young kids.

First Timer in Destin
We found the condo to be as advertised. We absolutely love the location for the following three main reasons. To steal from popular realters verbiage...location, location, location. You couldn’t ask for better proximity to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Well, you could ask but you might be disappointed. We really enjoyed the warm welcome from other renters as well as owners in the complex. Communicating with our host was a delight. Responses were timely (usually within a few hours) and always contained the information needed. We submitted a request for a few items and with no questions asked, all were provided. If available, we wouldn't hesitate to rent this condo again should we revisit Destin.

The location was great but the dishwasher need replaced it keep running on it's on and the water is everywhere on the floor. When I called the next day she told me it need replace without even informing me when i checked in to room 209. Same thing with the microwave keep running on it's one and the stove. This is something they check for safety.....

Great condo!
We really enjoyed our short stay here and it had great beach access. I only had one complaint that can be easily fixed. There was no lock on this inside of the door keeping my kids from walking straight out the door. I was surprised this wasn’t the case as it was a family friendly condo. A latch or something needs to be added to the door on the inside. My young daughter was looking for me in the bedroom at one point and got the doors confused and walked straight out the front door. I was especially paranoid at night. Other than that, great place to stay!

Great Location! Excellent Stay!
This was our first time visiting Destin, Fl - traveling from Maryland. We were a lil sketchy because we didn’t know much about the area. This condo was perfect! Excellent location- quiet and away from the craziness/noise but also close to all the attractions and shops/restaurants. Beautiful patio view of the gulf- and such a close walking distance! The condo was clean and a great size!! Perfect for our 5 night stay. The owner was very responsive to me. I will recommend this condo to all of my friends and family! With my son on Eglin Airforce Base, I’m sure we will rent this condo again on our future visits.

A good choice
This condo has several pros and those are the proximity to the beach, being able to keep an eye on your kids in the pool without leaving the condo, and its location on Scenic Hwy 98. Other than that, I would have to say that the condo is average. It could really use some updating and/or more quality work done on the inside (paint was peeling off doors, was on floors around trim, on glass on balcony doors, etc.). Also, the pans in the kitchen were awful, as were the cooking utensils. For a very small amount of money, those things could be upgraded and it would make a nice difference to the renters. The pool was also very filthy when we arrived, but when I contacted the owner of the condo, she was very responsive and the pool was cleaned later that day. Overall, I would say that it was worth the money and we enjoyed our stay. The owner was as sweet as could be, very informative, and responsive. It just needs a little bit of love.
