The owner was there when we checked in and gave us a tour and recommendations for dinner in town. Downtown is just darling and easy walking around the town square. Dinner in town was excellent as well. I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone. ”

Jim was close by and helpful. I did think it odd that we had to purchase our own firewood as there were several piles of wood in the yard.”

We also had a lot of rain while staying and it was sooooo relaxing to listen to while being hugged in warmth from the fireplace! The incinerator toilet is SO easy to use and so so so convenient! “My wife and I traveled down for Family Weekend at Franklin-Pierce and this was a perfect for what we needed. We spent most of the time with our daughter on campus/exploring the area, but the cabin was a perfect refuge to return to after all the busy-ness. Lydia was in active communication from the time we booked until the time we checked out and was very responsive anytime we had a question on something.
